Christmas 14 Event.

How did you like the event? A bit of a re-make from the past. It was rather quick and easy, I expected it to be a little bit longer.

How'd you guys like the reward?

As Zippy said, like the santa suit. Definitely something I'll be wearing around!

 

Seeing as i won a holly wreath, wasnt bad.

I still need to check this out but the suit is great, worth doing it atleast.

 

It wasn't kind of a re-make lol, it was a re-make. Exact same event as 2005, save for the rewards.

2005 Xmas event was in my opinion the best holiday event there ever was. Had a blast doing it again.

Yeah, they're intended to be the same events now, I believe. I couldn't remember if it was exactly the same or not.

 

Yeah, if memory serves it was exactly the same.

Bit more tedious than I remember though. Granted I was 13 when it first came around, so Runescape and gaming in general was a lot more exciting.

 

Right. When I was about to finish it, I actually felt bad. The whole 10 minutes or so, I was thinking "Can I get this over with already?"

 

Lmao me too man. Though the nostalgic touch of putting the decorations on the tree was nice.

I also like the little Anti-Santa event as well. That's pretty funny.

All in all, 10/10 for Jagex's effort.

The Rs 3 christmas event wasn't horrible - I'd rate it a 7/10. I don't like the introduction of even more discontinued items. Christmas is supposed to be about giving and not competing.

Luckily in OSRS we still get that community feel to it. Saw hundreds of people doing the event. Was refreshing.

 

it was boring, and getting the anti santa outfit is boring too

 

haven't done this one yet going to do the event sometime today, so is there two events? the regular and then the anti-santa is another?

 

How is the Anti Santa thing boring? Lol. Takes 2 seconds and the outfit is well worth it.
