Splash Magic/AFK guthans- when/if it will be shut down

What do you guys think of the changes? On the second page they said that the time for splash would be around 30min. Also, do you guys think there will be any future changes with guthans or this is it?

Also... I'm a pretty low level.... Splashing in pk worlds is still a thing right..?

 

I really hope it doesn't get nerfed. It's great for people like me who don't have much time to sit and grind away levels

 

they havent changed anything that didnt get 75% atleast so far, doubt they will start now

IMO it shouldn't be changed cuz nmz guthans is just an easier way to afk bandits and Mage splashing is a legit way of auto clicking and just prevents ppl from doing so. Also such methods just let ppl get past the grind which is perfectly fine to me

I'm maxed, and for a while (before nmz) it was so difficult to pk because no1 was maxed, it needs to be left in at least for awhile.

 

They changed the NMZ runes thing without 75% vote.

 

Partyhats were made non-discontinued with a less than even 50% vote approving that, Jagex will do as they please.

 

The afk timer not kicking you if your in combat is a broken game mechanic, just call it a bug, fix it, and be done with it. Splashing and Guthans in NMZ can stay just make it so you need to babysit your account.

 

Lol I feel like its less of a game integrity issue, more of a "I really want to get rid of these things fromt he game, but is the hit on our budget worth it" sort of issue for jagex.

Personally I wouldn't play that much if it were gone--idk if I would keep playing even. Its a nice little incentive for people to join back in the rs community w/o spending hundreds of hrs to recreate an acc

 

I think they should keep it or change the limit to 3 hours. A lot of people use this method and it would be unfair to the people (like me) who have yet to join or are just starting to join. We would be behind the curve.

I wouldn't say shut down, rather nerfed. More people are becoming against this because they've completed their goals using these methods. It's pretty contradictory and selfish, but hey.. It's runescape

 

idk why they want to patch this.... aint nobody got time to train again, ive already maxed out myself once, not my fault they released eoc....

 

this. I would understand if people were moaning like they do on reddit if this was the real game, but i've already paid my dews leveling up legit for years before. The 07 server already feels more like a private server and isn't really stable, so fuck it why shouldn't we be able to afk for a bit. The levelling is still painfully (if not worse than the first time doing it) slow as hell too.

 

I hope they dont change it, so much easier to get mage.

 

I don't see a reason to fix it when it's been in the game for such a long time. I would understand if they would have polled it when those methods were first discovered but tbh they've been in game for so long it's too late to take them out now IMO

 

Not going to happen, and I'll be very upset if it does. OR ATLEAST LET ME GET MY 99 DEFENCE
