Range tank

I've been watching some guides to build a range tank. And many of them recommend like 60 str and attack, but what do you need that for? Isn't it enough with 99deff and 99 range? and like 70 prayer?

You can get 148 Attack/Strength levels without raising your combat.

I don't get it tho i mean, when i level like 70 attack and 78 strange my combat level goes higher anyway dosn't it? or it's only like that in begining?

 

It depends on your other levels of course. You can get 148 Attack/Strength levels without raising your combat when you are 99 Hitpoints, Ranged and Defence.

 

Helps train your hp.

 

i'm a tank myself 70/70 att/str and 52 pray

 

Because you can get sooo many levels in each with only gaining 1 combat, and you can raise HP.
