Alternative clients?

I know and use Orion, however the downtime after updates are consistently irritating.
Ideally I need an individual high-score look-up. Something that gets names to avoid typing errors on multiple clients, but I'm guessing that's not possible. Does anyone use runeloader? If so is it safe? Are there any alternatives?

 

Well, i haven't really stayed up to date with such things honestly but i know back in the day we all used swiftkit, i've heard that there's support for 2007 or i bet you could find an older version download possibly...
