How much will 94 mage cost and questions on range

how much would 94 mage cost around from 55 doing the basic yew longbow or mage longbows .. some say 20m some say 40m so im stuck. and also how long would 99 range take and cost at crabs with iron knives vs chinning at ape atoll..

132 gp loss each alch, around 150k needed 55-94 so 20M.

chinning around 30M for 70-99 including pots

 

Depending on market availability for both nats and yew longs you're looking at around 20-25M. I've actually found in my alching that Maple Longbows have been easier to obtain and cheaper per alch. Just food for thought.

Here's some insight on your topic about the range, 99 range at rock crabs using iron knives will be HORRIBLE. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone if you are going to use knives atleast go to the cages orgs in the training ground you can use a cannon here as well to boost EXP. As far as length in time? I would say if you play 5-6 hours a day it would take you about a month and a half... I would HIGHLY recommend that you chin I know it costs a bit but it is much much much faster I would say it would take you about 2-3 weeks at 5 hours a day. It's really up to you, do you have the patients to take like a month and a half or 2 months for 99 range? If so then my hat comes off to you. I would honestly chin, that is your best best.

Just as an alternative why not try enchanting diamond bolts to 99.
If you buy the diamonds and fletch the bolts yourself.

Its 191k casts to 99.
191k casts is 1.9M diamond bolts.
You can profit 70-100gp per bolt.
So that would be a total profit of 133-190M profit.

However it is alot slower

 

Why not do Dt, alch to 70 then burst to 94 and actually profit from mage lol, Also insane HP exp.

 

That takes a ton of money to even start out. Diamonds aren't cheap so that causes a problem. However, if you have the money I would go with this. That 133-190m profit sounds so nice

For me 99 mage costed around 20m, but if you dont want to spend that much money but have a lot of time, I would curse til 85 with a mud staff and then use enchant mta til 99. For range, it would take fairly longer, maybe 3 weeks - a month depending on your level

 

Telling you right now do NOT chin unless 80-85+ range. You will lose so much money due to chins costing too much for your exp pull at anything lower

 

This is correct. Maple may be a bit cheaper.
