    Range tank guide?

I've always wanted to make a range tank, and now more than ever due to these 2007 servers. I honestly don't know what I'm doing though :/ Does anyone know of any good range tank guides? Or can tell me what to do?

    Range tank guide?

I've never made a range tank, but I'm pretty familiar with quests and whatnot. On behalf of the training portion, I'd just say the regular:

    1-20 range cows.
    20-40 range minotaurs
40-75 or 99 at fire giants
75-99 green or blue dragons, (for profit)
    or....
75-99 chinning at Ape Atoll (need to have started MM) - expensive method
    While training range, use long-range.
I'm not expert in range, I'm just assuming.

Quest wise, you'll want to do a few imporant quests. Truthfully, barrow gloves are the best range gloves in the game, at least in 07.

    Basic Quest Outline:
    - All tree gnome quests, and complete MM (if you're looking to get barrow gloves).
    - RFD (for barrow gloves)
    - Animal Magnitiesm + the sub-quests (for ava accumalator).
    - Lunar Diplomacy (for lunar magics)
    - Desert Treasure (for ancient magiks and for barrow gloves)
    - Roving Elves (only if you want a Crystal bow, or shield)
    - Dragon slayer (ability to wear dragonhide top + good defence XP)
    - Holy grail (optional but 2 QP + 11K prayer and 15K defence XP)

...that's all I can think of the top of my head, but like the person above said youtube should have loads of guides or even searching google. Hope this helped a bit.

    Range tank guide?

That depends on the person completely.

And there really isn't a guide because of how versatile it can be. A few obvious quests you should do, listed by someone else earlier. You cannot quest 70 def obviously, or 99 range.

The only thing you need to know is your cannot get more than 149 total in attack and strength levels. Or you would be melee based and you'd be a higher cb level.

Def could be 70 to use barrows, or 75 for a dfs, or 99 just for high def. What exactly are you looking for? You can do pretty much all the quests as a range tank, so quests isn't the question. I'm guessing you want to know the usual def needed, and I just gave them. Barrows is a must because with just torag helm and legs, you could have the def of over full rune with a black d'hide body.

    Range tank guide?

Depends what PK bracket you want yourself to fall into, but I myself love maxed range tanks.

    Stats would look something like...

    70 Att
    70 Str
    99 Def
    99 HP
    99 Range
    99 Mage
52 Prayer (optional, just my preference for Smite)

The reason I say 70 Att and 70 Str (keeping you at 140 as opposed to near 149) is because it gives you lots of margin for error, if you find a method where you indeed switch to Melee a fair bit in wild.

    Range tank guide?

So I have a question about this, because I am trying to figure out whether I am keeping a 1 Defence pure, Zerker pure, or Range Tank.

Would these stats be pretty acceptable for a Range Tank? And also what is the general sequence of pking on a Range Tank?

    70 Attack
    75 Strength
    99 Defence
    99 Range
    52 Prayer
    99 Magic
    99 Hitpoints

So as a Range Tank, would it be ranging, then switch to the spec weapon for a spec, then back to Range?
