botting has made me lose my interest in playing?

I've been botting for over 3 years now. I've gotten to the point were i'm so lazy I bot almost everything. Has this happened to anyone else? I cannoned 1-55 range and then got bored and gave up.. I did 1-75 range with bronze arrows on f2p in 2006 lmao.


btw how do I change "Lost" to "lose" for the thread title...

 

Yep, same here. I simply cannot train any skills anymore (except Slayer). The only things I can really bear are Bossing, Dungeoneering, Slayer, and showing off my botted wealth. It's a natural human thing, when we know we can do something with no effort, we naturally don't like doing the same thing with effort.

For a thread title change, PM a Global or a Sectional Moderator for this section of the forum (CSkiffingt1, Sengira, Sacro, or Farcast).

This is completely natural... Rs is so redundant. I can't see anyone not getting bored of the game.

I never really botted once in my main but I can tell you it is very boring to train skills

 

it really ruins it for every game. i bought terraria for 10$ and quit a day later after i found bot. Good thing I don't bot on rs on my own accounts.

 

I was legit for like the first 7 years I played, nowadays I can't even do something simple like get a mining level or anything..

 

Bot the things you don't like so you can do the things you do like... thats what i do at least

^ exactly.. I used to be able to grind range all day long on f2p. now I can hardly sit there with rune arrows and a cannon on p2p lmao.

 

The problem is that there are to many bots. Why shold YOU work your ass off for a skill every noob is better in because they bot? All the updates and the changed mentality have kinda ruined the game for me. So i just pk with my pwnage botted stats.

 

err... Idgf about other peoples stats these days.. back in the day when my irl friends played more we would always race and that made it fun. now days I don't care if some one is botting wc when I'm not.. I just want a level or something so I bot for it.

 

I admit the reason I feel like botting / RS cheating has driven me away from the game is because I have lost interest of the friend I used to do many in game activities with. I feel like runescape is much more fun to play legit if you have a bunch of friends to do it with you. I don't really have many friends in RS and I don't play nearly as often as I used to before I started botting. I don't bot my main anymore and I have been trying to find more new and interesting things to do legit but I am having trouble.

 

Honestly, without bots i wouldnt play RS, sometimes i just really dont want to sit there and cut 3,000 yew trees.

 

That is the beauty of botting. It allows people that play RuneScape too much or are maybe even addicted to actually get a life. It takes that sense of 'I need to play RS' away from you because a program is playing for you.

 

Same here, only thing I do is quest.

The way I look at it, I'm botting my skills so I can eventually sell the account for a good sum of money.

 

See i just like to pk, so i bot the stats that i dont wanna have to grind out. That way i do what i enjoy in the game, but i dont have to spend 3-4 hours a day doing it

 

it doesnt feel like i play runescape anymore, i just get on to start my bot
then when i do play i feel like i have nothing to do because my bot has done everything for me
