Explanation of the trade: I was trading my maxed main for a GPU off amazon
How they scammed: I gave him all my irl details including my ID and the maxed main. He claimed he ordered the GPU, but that it wasn't in the mail because it was the weekend. Then on monday he said they were preparing it to ship, but he ordered it on friday supposedly so it should've shipped already. Then yesterday he stopped answering altogether. I gave him till this morning to respond, but he never did. He went online then away multiple times so he saw my messages. I've already filed a recovery with Jagex.

edit: Ghast reply disappeared....but in response:

Yea it could take a day or two to ship, but he ordered it on Friday, and he said it didn't ship Saturday OR Monday which is not very likely. Then I asked him for the tracking info yesterday again and he ignored me the whole day. Then in the afternoon I said I'd wait till this morning before I take action. I messaged him this morning and still haven't got a reply. Can only assume he's scamming if he won't answer and never gave me any proof it shipped in over 24 hours.

Edit: Replied and acted like he hadn't been on skype. But over the 36 hours that he "wasn't on" I saw him go online like 15 times. On the off chance that he's just really rude/dumb by not looking at my messages or something and the GPU is in the mail I'll just return to sender or figure something out with Amazon, as I already recovered the account.
