Explanation of the trade:

He was selling me his obby mauler for $80.
How they scammed:I paid him $80, he gave me the account details. 2 hours later the account was locked and then it was unlocked but the password was changed. Basically he recovered the account.

Proof I was in possession of the account for a short while (you can see I levelled agility by 1 and it wearing the fishing cape (untrim) the same is in the sale thread:





When I came back from going outside I was greeted with a lock screen, I was shocked and my initial reaction was that it had been locked due to a change in location, I tried to contact the seller who deleted me on skype and the lock message became an invalid password message about 15 minutes later, unfortunately this means I was unable to get a picture of the 'account locked' message, however here are two failed login screens:
