Overview : I brought a LOL account for 16.99$ in RSGP and then over a month later the account was banned.

I was not aware of the risk of getting banned for his botting and didn't agree to any terms on skype.

I do not want a new account or him training me a new account because that will take long and there is a possibility it will just get banned again. I spent lots of time playing my purchased account getting lots of IP to purchase champs and play ranked just for it to be banned for his actions that I was not aware of when we made a deal.

 

How do we know it wasn't you if it's been a month?

 

Since the purchase of the account all I have been doing was playing on it and then out of the blue a ban come in. So I'm guessing that they either flagged the account before because of Xhylaus botting on it and then saw a change of IPs logged in on the account, so they determinied it was a purchased account or they first noticed the change of IP's and determined the account was purchased then checked the history of the account to find out that it was botted. In the email they sent me as shown in thread it said I was banned for both suspicion of account selling and third party programs known as bots.

 

Just chiming in here; all level 30 fresh unranked accounts that are sold are all botted up. We can't hold the seller responsible - it's a known risk associated and accepted when buying accounts as such. Unless the seller specifically stated that he DIDN'T bot it up, or that he would compensate you if it were to be banned, he isn't at fault.

Since account selling/trading/botting is against Riots TOS, it's an understood risk when trading, similar to RS accounts.

 

I understand this now but, I was not informed of this whilst trading and did not agree to any terms of service. If I knew accounts were banned just a month later when purchased I wouldn't have purchased the account in the first place. In theory he sold me a defective product.

 

I don't mean to sound abrasive, but you should have researched into what you were buying. Almost everyone that deals in level 30 fresh unranked accounts (whether buyer/seller/trader), knows they are botted.

I don't feel like it's the sellers responsibility to alert you to that fact, when you're the one purchasing a product that regardless of sellers, is attained the same way - botting - market wide.
