I don't know if this is really grounds for a scam report, but I don't know what else to do here and would like a mod opinion on this post.

    I was trading with ConnorP

I was selling a rare name, and accepted his offer of 175m. I didn't know about bonds or how transferring works (I've been away from RS for years), so I specified in my thread that I was selling the account rather than just the name and was leaving the transfer up to the buyer. He didn't want to buy the account and wanted to transfer the name without buying the account (probably partly due to me thinking you still had to wait 28 days - I didn't realize you could redeem bonds for username changes). I was talking to vibes on skype and he told me how bonds work so connor and I went ahead with the transfer the usual way, rather than with me giving him the account. The name was sniped and he refuses to accept any responsibility (I asked him to pay half)

I think it would be fair if he had to accept partial responsibility and pay half the agreed price.

Unless you can prove he had it sniped then theres nothing that can be done. This kind of thing happens regularly in the name sales world.

You couldn't deliver the goods, therefore he owes you nothing.
