Scammed by - Xhyalus - "secure" league smurfs

Explanation of the trade: 25$ for a smurf.

How they scammed: Keep in mind he states before you purchase NOBODY can recover these, BUT he OBVIOUSLY can and that's just mad flaw as something like this can happen and he can just swoop the account back up whenever. These are NOT secure.

I bought 25$ account smurf, got it within a couple days as I had to wait for my brother to check his e-mail. He then didn't agree on this and chargebacked told me to tell him before spending out money. So I gave him 25$ in cash in hand to pay him back but he had no idea how to close the dispute or any idea who the guy was. I am OFFERING to pay him back, but he's EXTREMELY hostile about this and keeps thinking I am going to chargeback. (why would I chargeback when he can recover, and If I am not mistaken Sythe has a rule that a "scam" can be payed back. This isn't even a scam just a misunderstanding between me and my brother.) Not to mention I put about 300$ of RP (bought codes in store/100 referrals = 300$ value) in there that I bought from a friend who sells referrals on Skype. The account had 34,000 RP and 50,000 IP.

I'm very confused as to what you mean by this. Can you explain exactly what happened?

 

- I bought a smurf from him because I thought it was secure/good price with my brothers PayPal , I was going to pay him cash for PayPal funds.

- Brother doesn't like I did it while he wasn't home so he chargebacked through phone, I find out after 24hours he did this when I see the PayPal e-mail

- I tell him to cancel the dispute but PayPal had closed it as my brother did it almost 3 days after I told him.

- In the meantime I bought 5 25$ RP cards and 100$ of referrals from a close friend who has a bot farm on Skype for the smurf. The account ends up getting 34,000 RP and 40-50,000 IP from refs / RP cards.

- Account is recovered by the person in the thread. I told him I was going to pay him back from my own PayPal, he proceeds to call me a scammer/hostile towards me and thinking I was going to get away with it, etc. It's obvious he can recover his accounts and he claims he can't because of a "random e-mail", has a large customer base, I wouldn't be surprised if accounts just get recovered by him. (just my opinion)

TLDR: It was all a misunderstanding and my brother got spooked when e-mails were sent to him by a randomer. He had no idea who Xhyalus is until this day. I'm offering to pay him back 24.99$ for the smurf as it has over 300$ of my property inside.

Apparently the dispute on PayPal is still active and hasn't been closed yet.

Once an unauthorized dispute is open, it cannot be closed or interrupted by anyone from PayPal. We tried calling and it's just a brick wall saying these aren't something you just hault, per say a item not as described dispute etc. Close or open I am going to pay him and want what belongs to me, back.

 

We agreed on a RSGP payment for 24.99$ and just want to state the only person who can recover the account, him, a recover meaning the original email/set email is changed without an official Riot confirmation and this is done by Support only after an owner is proven by them and he's the only one who can do this. If it were to happen in the future, a complete wipe of password/email without notifications then it'd only be him and I'll gladly reopen but we just want to end this on a good note.
