Here's the situation.

TheLuckyNub quoted my post. I was in the middle of posting I accepted that as I also had to go down to my common room for a few minutes to meet with my class group anyways.

Immedeatly after Fulla rolls, which I believed to be voided. I asked Entrr's opinion on it and he agreed that the first quote is the valid one. After I explained that to TheLuckyNub and asked him to wait a few minutes, which he did and rolled. I was hesitant to roll him back as the situation wasn't 100% handled though.

Then, after that, Entrr tells me on skype that Fulla's post is valid.. which makes no sense for me. TheLuckyNub quoted me first and I wanted to roll against him.

What If I had rolled against TheLuckyNub before Entrr told me his final decision?

I think it's stupid. Once a post is quoted, all other rolls and quotes should be void.

 

I assumed that when you said he replied it included a roll. As the original post states:
• To accept a bet, you must quote the post you're accepting and post "I accept, X$" and roll. The other party should in turn quote them and roll.

The way I read that is the first person who rolls against your post voids all others. Not the first reply. Open to others opinions.

 

I can see your point of view on it however it doesn't make any sense that the first to roll is the criteria for a valid acceptance. TheLuckyNub ACCEPTED my bet. He needed a few minutes to straighten things up and I was willing to give him that. That right there made our bet official, then some random person comes and rolls and says mine and TheLuckyNub's bet is no longer official.

That's not fair in the slightest.
