Not a Scam Report; Refund Request ... KMJT.

Let me make it exceedingly clear this is not a claim that I was scammed.
I just believe I was led to buy something other than what was advertised.

As is would be apparent, I am in the market for a nice start to a pure.

Here is a thread that I've started regarding it:
    http://www.sythe.org/runescape-2007...pure-account-99-strength-no-bans-pp-07gp.html

I finally stumbled on this thread here, by KMJT:
    http://www.sythe.org/runescape-2007...-1300-vouches-ex-mod-selling-beast-pures.html

This met a lot of my requirements for an account, specifically:
I was enthused to find this thread by KMJT, obviously because he is a very esteemed member of the community, but, also:
I contacted him and he advised me that he had no accounts to that effect life in stock, however:
    http://gyazo.com/32ad0ae288b5eda374160533209817f6

We continued to carry out the trade.
Everything was perfectly fine. We vouched each other!

After this, I went about the usual after-purchase activities for buying an account.
The first thing that I did was go to the http://runescape.com/ website to update the account information.
When I logged into the account settings, the offenses tab was the first thing to come up. That's when I saw this:
    http://gyazo.com/7aceb5089ed373002cbccf27643a8c64

Naturally, I was surprised. I was under the impression that the account wouldn't have this sort of issue.

I approached KMJT to advise that the account did, indeed, have an offense.
I very respectfully requested a refund, while offering him an incentive:

Naturally, he doesn't bite at first, and cites customer satisfaction as the reason:
    http://gyazo.com/0c8e39f1cab4a209e6148cf0395c48b6

    When I respond with this:
    http://gyazo.com/987fd1c1f2ff831fe395674a8f19a96e

To this, he responds that it is my fault that I thought that since he was selling me a pure that was not listed on the thread:
    http://gyazo.com/109a6ec787a916563cbd113be3a90e99

We begin to have an argument of sorts on Skype:
    http://gyazo.com/f882d6f012fcd36e9f94902c2d3b0f9f
    083711701d273bd333807b1bf9f4788a
    http://gyazo.com/e0678cfd3ea24d3a0af1730af8f531c5

We both came to the conclusion that it'd be best to get an outside opinion:
    http://gyazo.com/b9924285523db39ab6127b4270751344

    Hence, this thread.

I genuinely am not interested in this account, considering any botting would result in an immediate ban.
Further, I have not touched anything on the account since I learned that it had the offense.
    http://gyazo.com/f82fa7506dbe461ed2143a6cc79537d7

In a perfect world (for me), I will return the account to him, he would give a full refund.

Since both of us are opinionated and obviously have a biased look at the situation, we would like for the decision to be made by a current moderator.

I request that he is not held in favor for his previous (albeit, awesome) contributions to the community.
I'd like to be seen as his equal in this situation so that there is a fair assessment.
I do appreciate your time in the matter.

I understand that a full refund isn't likely, considering I have seen the account details.
To that end, let me again stress, I have 0% interest in this account.
I simply want a refund so that I can spend the money, hopefully, on one of the ones that are actually advertised in the thread once they're in stock.
I've even offered that he hold my gold from this trade for one until he gets one in stock (he said he gets them every 15 days or so).
Just something that doesn't have a macroing offence, so I can do so on the more daunting tasks.

I will continue to do business with KMJT in the future, especially sell gold to him.
I would like to have someone with an outside view have a good look at the situation.
    Thank you.

    EDIT:

I have spoken with the moderator, Yaroow. He has given his initial response to my summary of the situation as he doesn't have time to review it in its entirety.
    http://gyazo.com/a71194fad3c755f4548f6d1fb1f789f2

With that said, he did express that it was just based off of my personal summary of the situation, which may be weighted:
    http://gyazo.com/895f10806200372e4a6c90985e8e9e63

He went on to advise that once he's gotten some rest, he will review the whole thread with all included evidence.

Hoping this can be reviewed soon.

Here is the summary that I sent to him:
** I, too, believe it was not intentional.
*** He advised through private message that his laptop crashed. I was mistaken about him blocking me.
Again, let me stress that this is before he has reviewed everything!

I am updating the situation as often as possible.
Currently trying to work something out with KMJT through Skype!
Thanks to any moderators that are viewing!

How I see it is you didn't buy an account from that thread, so therefore what's on that thread doesn't matter in the slightest. Unless you stated specifically in the conversation that you didn't want any bot bans and KMJT told you it didn't have any, then I don't see why he should refund you.

See, this is where I'm just getting frustrated about it. If a store has something advertised in the window and I go in to say, "Hey, sell me what you have in the window?" & they come back with "For some exacerbating reason, we have that on display, although there are none for sale. Buy this instead?" & I buy that second item that they offer me, and it's absolutely worthless, I shouldn't have an issue returning it when I no longer want it. I really don't see why this is fair to me, the little guy, at all. If I would have sold KMJT an account (I would have been proactive and informative about the status of the offences, personally) and he wasn't satisfied, I'd return without hesitation. Just because I'm a nice guy. Then I'd go on about my day. I have tried to make several compromises with him, but apparently $50 is a very large amount to him. He simply cannot afford to take a $50 loss for something where he withheld pertinent information.

Sure it's my ignorance for coming to him in the first place and assuming that he'd be an honest guy. It's ignorant to trust anyone on the internet, really, regardless of status. At this point, I'd really be OK with taking half of what I paid back and giving back his item. I will not use it. Ever. It will literally sit here untouched. It's as good as trash, which I have explained to him multiple times.

This man (KMJT) has multiple income streams from this game. He won't be hurting for RuneScape gold if he returns my 20M. It's a matter of satisfying a customer. It just blows my mind that this is such a difficult task. The guy buys and sells billions of gold a day and he's worried about $50 worth that I deserve back.

This is not fair at all.

    EDIT:

I was happy to see these in my personal inbox. It puts things into perspective for those that are viewing this from the outside..

Similarly if a shop offers a product and have none left, then point you to an alternative product that may be of use instead then it doesn't mean that the new product has the same specifications or quality as the original - it's merely a compromise.

I could care less who it is you're making the report against - whether it be KMJT or a person who registered an hour ago. I haven't hesitated to have people I know pay up where due or myself when I've thought it was fair.

You should've asked about the mutes & bans, just like you asked if it were members and for specific levels/combat level, for the particular account - obviously he would've said so.

It's up to him to have "good customer service" - not us.
