[ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS] Sythe PR Team - Video Creator Required

The PR team is now accepting applications from people who are willing to create content for the Sythe YouTube channel!
We're looking for people with a lot of experience and who are willing to dedicate their time into making a few videos every week for our YouTube channel which can range from mainly tutorials to regular videos and news updates. You must be serious and be experienced on the subject.
If you apply and we decide to recruit you, you will be awarded with the PR Team Member rank and will be put in charge for our YouTube channel but you'll also be able to join our discussion.



Who are we?
The PR team hopes to strengthen the bonds between Sythe and the communities outside of Sythe.
We hope to better the site in terms of activity, accountability and transparency.
However our main goal is to help bring in new community members!

So this person is gonna be making free video content & have a criteria?

 

IMO this sounds like it needs to be a paid spot.

Should run a PR event alongside a CDT event and see if u can get a sponsor for a smaller PR event to help pay this person.

Youtubers typically know how to make money on youtube, There isn't much reason(besides a pixel rank) for them to do this.


If someone wants to though, I'm all for them doing it I just think it wont last.

I don't see why the PR team cant run like a "Social Media Event", and ask for a sponsor to chuck in like $20-$50 to get their banner/site advertised in the event+ mabey a few shoutouts on FB/Twitter?, then in the event u can offer like $1 per follower or do random drawings etc.

You get a sponsor, you get social media attention, you get to pay your youtuber, win-win-win.

 

Correct, we're looking for people to help out. They'll also be considered a third PR Team Leader, however their main goal would be managing the YouTube channel.

 

Making video content takes a lot more effort than anything else people do here on sythe including moderating.

 

I find this position quite demanding considering the conditions. It would be difficult for a single person to manage creating that amount of videos in a week.

I'm hoping that someone with sufficient experience applies, but I would be lying if I said I wouldn't be surprised.

We've switched up the application requirement a bit, we're now looking for a few members willing to dedicate a few videos each week to Sythe.

 

Looks like a fantastic idea, I will be tuning in for the vids guys!

 

4-5 Videos every week is a lot. You should make a schedule and follow it religiously, such as maybe a news video every Thursday, a tutorial every Monday. Considering the videos themselves will take anyone 4-5 hours to edit depending on the quality you're going for and the time length, I just don't see how one person would possibly have time for this? Maybe if it was the start of summer, but everyone is going to be starting school soon as well. Just my two cents, I think you should lower your expectations, and start off with 1 video a week, and slowly grow from there.

 

I know about making youtube videos on a small scale and it also takes time to perfect; if you're expecting a person or select people to make videos to a higher standard it takes a lot more effort, a lot of editing time, music editing the rest of it. Have a proper schedule with certain people making a 1 type of video due for 1 day per the week. As in 3 people 3 different objectives, 3 different days.etc If you'd like any input just ask, considering I can't apply
