    I often struggle with revision/studying

Anybody have some useful tips for efficient revision/studying?
I find myself procrastinating hard and studying for 30 mins - 1 hour then giving up.

    I've got finals coming up.

    I often struggle with revision/studying

I have this exact problem, my i'm midway fixing it. I study a subject and review it, but then no longer feel the incentive to because I recognize everything right away, and "think" that I'll ace the test (although deep inside, I know different)

I found the the best way to get over this was to try speaking out loud what I've learned as if I were teaching to to somebody else. When I find myself unable to word it and that it's that thing that I know but just can't remember (like somebody's name), I realize that I'm in a pretty shitty situation and immediately go over that topic again.

It worked just fine last exam..

Find a practice test to gauge your knowledge. That way you don't have hindsight feedback (where you dont know something but you tell yourself after that you would have gotten it anyways) and you can focus on topics which you are deficient in while just skimming over stuff you truly know

Its work you just have to do it there's no magic formula. I tend to do most of my work away from my house to reduce distractions.

Try to study in an area where there is no distractions and start with high lighting key terms rather than reading huge paragraphs, it works better. If you can't seem to focus, try adderall it works very well!

I don't know man, wouldn't you grow a dependency on the drug?
I mean it sounds real nice, but I don't want to not be able to study without it in the future

similar to me with studying for exams, i try to study for atleast 1hr but end up studying for 10mins then going on my laptop or phone.

maybe try going to a place where you can't use them, like outside in your patio, porch or backyard.

i have voice recording software on my smartphone so i bullet point each topic and record myself going through it, then listen to it throughout the day and when i sleep. In the morning i can pretty much repeat my whole course as your mind absorbs the info somehow.

What helps you relax? Music? You need a quiet room for a start.

I wasted time not studying in school, the LAST thing you want to be doing is dicking about with resits after you finish school when your friends are going into further education or into work, and you are still messing about with your exams you could have done first time round had you studied.
