How Sythe has Helped me / My Story!

Hey folks, Canadian checking in, wanted to tell everyone my story in case anyone is in the same mix. Now just to warn everyone the story isn't an amazing one, but to be fair amazing stories are pretty hard to come by. Also you need to realize that I am a sheltered little suburban kid and these issues are more often than not the biggest we have at this age. The issues of fitting in etc.. Anyways it's a pretty average story but I'm going to tell it anyways just in case it helps anyone, and also because I'm pretty bored. I played Runescape a lot as a kid, when I was 12 ish I started botting with NeXus or iBot, started scripting at like shit 13 i guess. Made a couple of free scripts there and quit Runescape altogether. Fast forward to high school, grade 10. I broke up with my girlfriend. She ended up going to her ex, which was subsequently my ex best friend (long story), and so it was pretty rough. I kind of sulked around school with my headphones on for a month. I started skipping classes, my grades were plummeting, but at that point i didn't really care. I was a pretty popular guy in high school, not that it matters, just to put in into context. I was in the whole "cool" group or what have you. My friends in which I've had since elementary school I guess thought I had changed, and that I thought I was too cool for them or what have you, since I never really made an effort to talk to them or hang out. Of course I wasn't doing this consciously, I was just pretty heartbroken over this girl. My friends proceeded to move their lockers upstairs, no longer talk to me, cancel plans for the summer like the cottage with me, just pretty much directly indirectly telling me they didn't want to hang out with me anymore. I got mono then, and was absent from school for a whopping four months. I looked like I was going to cave in, weighing as low as 165-170 at 6'6, which is ridiculous. My self confidence was at an all time low, being that skinny and having my friend group and what felt like everyone but my family shun me out, not to mention mono stays with you forever, and I just felt drained all the time. The only one really there for me apart from family, was ironically my ex. She'd stay up al night on the phone talking with me and listening to my problems. Of course, Runescape 07 came out around that time, so I thought fuck me might as well try it. Started botting that and made a pure. My old Runescape friends had come back and so I started talking with them again and catching up. I made quite a bit of money staking and this inspired me to sell some for some irl moolah to justify being a dork who sits in front of his computer all day playing runescape. My friend suggested I do it on Sythe, and so I found a mass gold buyer on here and sold it to him, probably getting ripped off for my 2 mill I then came up with a plan for staking. I botted up 2 accounts, one who basically had the stats of Jesus himself, and another who had peasant stats, with a little defense and a lot of prayer. But the connection between the two is they both evened out to the same combat. I'd make the accounts the same name except for one letters, often being an I/l swap buried at the end such as "ILLUMINATE" AND "ILLUMlNATE". I'd go with "ILLUMINATE" (peasant stats) and challenge someone. They would look up that account and we'd do a 500k/1m stake, something light. I'd then swoop in on "ILLUMlNATE" and do a 2m stake, they'd get mad and start ragestaking, 4m, 8m, 20m, possibilities were endless, and it was rigged so that I'd win. I started selling the gold for IRL cash. On a good day I'd make around 70-80$ in four hours, and a bad around 35-40$ in four hours. Either way, minimum wage here is around 10$, so compared to a part time job this was awesome! I got to sit on my ass and play Runescape I mean what else could you ask for. This was a beautiful distraction for a large part of the summer. It dulled the sting of losing my friends etc. During this time I was playing competitive ultimate at a provincial level. So it really wasn't helping me gain any weight. I was doing p90x but seeing no real results, again it is less good for building mass and more good for being fit, so I was still the skinny kid I was at the end of mono. I signed up for a leadership course, introducing grade 9's into the school. From there everything went up. I met this amazing girl, like girl of my dreams amazing (of course we're only friends still ) in the course who I didn't even know existed because she wasn't one of the "cooler" kids. Just as summer was ending I went to an old friend's cottage, and he brought a guy along that I didn't know, by accident thinking I knew him. Well me and this guy, also not considered one of the "cool" kids, hit it off. Our humor was exactly the same and I knew almost instantly we were going to be best buddies. Most importantly he lifted, like he was pretty jacked. So I asked him about the gym and he said he'd be happy to train with me. After that trip everything started clicking. Boom! Gym membership at the end of September. Boom! Into this whole new friend group. Boom! Old friends apologizing and saying they had no idea what was going on. Boom! Me and my ex are best friends again. Boom! Feeling super rewarded by the leadership program. Boom! Weight going up to 180. Boom! 190. Boom! 200. Boom! 210. Boom! Grades are at a 90+ average. Boom! Job bussing at a fancy restaurant, where at 16, doors are going to be open the rest of my life to be a waiter etc. Boom! Me realizing that this "cool" group just is some exclusive stupid group filled with idiots who preach upon whatever standards society puts forward. I forgot about Runescape and Sythe, I was too busy running around with my friends, doing homework, working out and having a job. But I am so grateful for what Sythe has done, it's really just an amazing community with something for everyone. Ok moral of the story is if you are feeling like nothing will ever get better, as if there is no point in trying, you've got it all backwards. There is a massive world out there, and you've only experienced an infinitesimally small amount. Go out and experience the rest, because there is much more good than bad out there, you just gotta keep looking.

Yeah I'm just turning 15 and he really looks a bit old prolly because he's tall, some people here thought I'm around 18 as I am 6'0" 1/2 and this guy is 6'6" though
