age gap with my girlf?

I'm from England, and I'm 18, 19 in october, and my girlfriend is 15, and 16 also in october buy a few days before me, so its just under a 3 year gap, luckily her parents have accepted me because lets face it, i treat her well keep her happy and im shy around her parents haha, but they have a 6 year age gap so they cant say much, and my parents have a 9 year gap, yet i still get people calling me a pedo.. i really do love this girl and i cant lose her, even though ive only been with her 2 months officially ive been really close for a few months before that, and i lost my virginity to her, do you guys think its bad or what? whats your opions?
