I owe 120€

So, a month ago, i asked my father if he could lend me 120€, now i don't know how to pay him back, and it's letting me very depressed, i'm in school, so, easter vacations are here already, so i need some advice in how or any way to make money, i got 15 days of vacations, i was hoping to make some money within this days.

If any of you can help me with an advice, i would really be thankful.

 

Get a side job. Even if it lasts for a week, or a little more, atleast you make some cash.

If you don't have the time for that with studying, just ask your father if he can wait a bit. I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

 

I tried to do that, and i'm already searching for a part time job, but everywhere i go, i don't have any lucky to be accepted, kinda sucks tho, and if i got a chance there's a "thousand" people that finished their degree, and they will probably get the job, it's kinda hard tho, where 25% of the population in my country is unemployed, but thanks for your kind advice, i'll keep looking for part time job.

 

If you'r into games. Probably do a service here for someone whether you will train their RS account or level people in League. I don't suggest you boost if you aren't good in league but you can def lvl up for someone until lvl 30 on League

 

Cut some lawns, or shovel snow maybe? I'm not sure. If your a young, healthy guy you shouldn't have a problem. Maybe even seek online employment.

 

Borrow 20 Euro from 6 different friends, tell them you'll pay them back.
Pay your father back with the 120 Euro, and slowly pay your friends back. For example if you make 30 euros,
give each friend 5 euros so they know they'll get it back someday.

Orrr sell some stuff you have at home on ebay, sell some old phone.

 

I owe a few grand in total to companies/government

 

Get a job at MacDonalds or another similarly minimum waged job. As long as you don't spend too much of it it should only take a few weeks to earn the money.

I'm sure your father won't be angry when you tell you can't pay him back. Just tell him you have been trying to get a job. If your country has that low of an employment rate I'm sure he would understand.
As for making money keep trying to get customers for swaps, but you need to make sure you watch your bumps. You can only bump once every 8 hours.

I'm sure your father knew he'd be waiting awhile for his money before he gave you the cash. My mother would know if I was working or if I was receiving any money and if I wasn't she'd probably know ahead of time that if she lent me anything it wouldn't be paid back for quite some time. If he's getting upset with you and he needs the cash back quick you might have to make some sacrifices and sell something. Maybe ask your dad if you can work it off, do some extra chores around the house or clean the garage things like that.

 

Just explain the relationship between father and son not allow loans He must give you money just like that,there is no need of loans.
Also fathers using the word "loan" just to make you take some responsibility for your words and acts.
And i bet 20 cents that you used first the word "loan" (i mean you requested it).
So if u can't turn him the money back,just be honest with him and explain your situation.
Never ask for loan,just ask for money (from your family)

 

You shouldn't loan from someone if you know that you struggling paying the amount back. Well in most cases if you borrow money from a family it's obvious not same demand as taking a micro loan.

Regarding asking for money from a family or asking for loan from mom/dad in most cases the respond will be no as i'm pretty sure the parents doesn't want to hand out money just like that as it could lead that the child will ask for money more then only one time so i think parents are more willing to just hand out a loan instead of just giving away money as that way they will see that the child pais back as promised and that can make the parents more comfortable. Now obbiously it depends how the child are raised or if the parents have a high income or not.

If you having a hard time paying him back then always ask him if there are other options then to paying back like making sidejobs for him for amount of days? If i had childrens i would have agreed on that if i loaned out money to my childrens.

Would cut some grass, trim up the neighbors bushes, help clean the house for your dad. Sell stuff on craiglist if you have a car. Sell candy in school.

 

Try asking your relatives that live near by you if they need anything to be done and if they can pay you after the job. I always do that and I get paid every single time.

 

Explain yourself, be calm cool and collected. Pay it up, Good to go.

 

Don't let the debt ruin your life. There used to be a member on these forums named Stui who was rather trusted and well known but because of an RS glitch, he ended up losing his entire RS stock while still in debt to people. The debt made him quit school just so he could pay everything back, and his life has really taken a turn for the worst because of it all. There's a lot more to the story, but my point is- yes it's important to pay back the debt ASAP, but make sure you don't ruin your life by making rash decisions to get the money, like quitting school to get a job, stealing, getting involved in the drug trade/gangs, ect. (You'd be surprised, it happens).

As for your actual debt- if you're finding trouble getting work, ask your dad if you can work it off by doing work on the house, like repairs, cleaning, mowing the lawn, ect. It'll take time but eventually you'll pay it off.
