    The annoying feeling called anxiety

Anxiety. Such an annoying feeling! I get it very often. Today I checked out some old treads that I've created and I felt kind of bad. Sometimes I think I feel anxiety for to small thing, like checking out some old treads and feeling it. And it's kind of annoying, feeling bad for checking out some old treads, is it really healthy?

Can anyone relate to this sort of behavior?

I can't relate to it, but my mom has anxiety and it scares the shit out of me! I do love it when you are scared and you get a rush of blood and it makes your tommy feel like you have butterflies inside. No where close to what we are talking on this thread, just a tip on how to make me high.

We all get a rush of different things, that's kind of interesting actually!

Why does it scares the shit out of you? I don't accuse you, things my mother do and how she feel sometimes I can found really scary.

It scares me because it is my mom. I have been with her my whole life and don't want anything to happend to her. She has gotten Anxiety shortly after my dad died, it has been rough for me and my mom. If I lose my mom then I'm all alone, I know that I won't lose my mom from anxiety, but in rare cases Anxiety leads to Heart Attacks.

I know exactly what you are talking to. I want to protect my mom and I don't want anything bad happen to her. If you feel that her anxiety is growing to a very big problem, maybe you should, very nicely, suggest that she should visit a psychologist to help her with that problem?

I't has not grown, but it has not gotten better. I think telling my mom about seeing a Psychologist would be a good idea for her. I'll ask her today whn she is up and moving.

I sometimes get a mild rush of anxiety before an exam (only sometimes for some subjects) and also when I'm trying to make connections, meet deadlines etc. so I think it's pretty normal for most people to feel at least some anxiety in their day to day lives.

Why do you get anxious over something like old threads? Like, what about them? If it's something bad I would assume the feeling would be more related to shame or embarrassment generally, and when I look at stuff I have done in hindsight I actually get that feeling very often. I still have people I avoid like the plague because of it actually.

Figured you'd get better answers here.

I have social anxiety problems as a result of PTSD.

Sometimes I'll feel anxious and unable to do simple things. Like I've missed a couple important lectures or meetings in the past because I've been a few minutes late and not wanted to walk in when everyone was seated or waited 15 minutes on the next train because the one that pulled up looks too crowded (even though it may not be to everyone else) and I cant just focus on a seat and go sit down. I also get anxious sitting in a room with my back to people, I like to sit where I can see everything that's going on. I sometimes freeze up when someone talks to me unexpectedly as well.

A few weird things of mine.
