    Are Australian teenagers good?

My family (Mom, Dad and me) are migrating to Australia soon and my mom is waiting for the approval. I am worried if the people in my age are good there because I don't wanna get involved into fights that much but if they really want to fist-to-fist with me, then I'd probably go with that.

I'm from Philippines and I can actually speak English good and I'm good when it comes to accent too but I'm 60% not good when I am actually speaking it, it's like it twists my tongue when I speak English like how English people speak English, they speak it fast (not that super fast but it's fast too). The first thing I imagine when my mom told me to take an exam to get enrolled to a school, I imagine I might get bullied after school time (afternoon) and the bullies might be waiting for me outside to bully me but I think I shouldn't really care about it. I'm 15, 6"0 1/2.

Are the people good there actually? Are there also lots of teenage kids whose from another country too?

When going somewhere new you always have the thought of being bullied. Normally, it won't ever happen, just go and make new friends. There are some cool, nice people in Australia, I don't see where you came to the assumption that they're all bad. You won't be bullied, Don't stress over it man. There is diversity everywhere in the world, including Australia, so of course there are teenage kids who are from another country as well. Let us know how it goes! :)

It really depends on the area.. It's like any country.

Here in the UK you can go to school in a nice place and walk around wearing make up and pink shoes or something and no one would bat an eye (slight exaggeration). Where is in a rough area of the UK, you'll get stabbed for that.

It's the same in any country, including Australia. Just be yourself and you'll have no problems.

Australian's are known for being laid back and chill. There will undoubtedly be people who you dont like or fit in with but there will always be a geoup you do fit with. Just don't be too shy, talk to people & you'll have no problems.

Everywhere in the world there is going to be some assholes. Just find some friends your first few days and have there back if anyone ever starts with them and they will likely do the same for you. If you see someone getting picked on stick up for them in a non violent way if possible. Be yourself and chances are people will accept you.

Australias a great place. As others have said, as it is in all countries, it depends where you are. However, Australia is a great multicultural, accepting, and diverse country. In terms of racism, and discrimination, it is far far far far far less than places such as the UK/America.

I would not even go there. You guys are lucky you don't share a border with any other countries and are pretty much secluded so that much of your racial tension applies solely to aboriginals. Sure they have China, India, and the Philippines nearby, but every FB pic of every Australian I've known is always filled with only White people (assuming fellow Aussies).
