Finally going to College

Hey guys im trying to see if anyone here has a BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN PSYCHOLOGY - GENERAL CONCENTRATION . Im just starting out on a Bachelors in Phy. and I just have a few question.

1. Am i going to kill myself before I get my degree
2. Is the workload pretty damn hard?

Just general query lol im kinda scared actually classes start tomorrow for my degree plan and im shitting right now.

Anyways anyone with a Bachelors just reply with the rough time and good times you had in college looking for some motivation.

Degrees are hard. You're right to shit yourself. I found myself piled with work, responsibility and dates/times/assessments up to my eyeballs. But, I met tonnes of like-minded and amazing people, inspiration and a feeling of purpose with what I want to do and most importantly the self-motivation I'd been needing.

Although, personally I realised the course I was in (Psychology) wasn't for me and I'm changing in September to something different - it's definitely worth it to go. It will be scary but it'll secure the rest of your life.

SCARED OUT OF MY WITTZ

 

Do you know what you want to do? Like, job-title wise?

I was gonna use Psychology to get in to criminal profiling but I'd also need a similar qualification in Forensics so I just went with Criminal Justice as a degree with aims to get in to border patrol/customs.

 

At the moment I want to be a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist that is my passion and that is what I want to be.

Im also looking at the BSCJ-HS that would give me more options after I graduate what do you think Roary?

The workload is prob gonna be a lot and more than what u used to have since its college. But ultimately its good as it prepares you for the future and in the areas that you are gonna work in next time. So bare with it and all the best man

 

it prepares you for critical thinking and all that bs. but college is fun.
