Runescape addiction

Well my addiction has got to me and my girlfriend of 2 years and 2 months told me.. I've attempted numerous times to buy main accs. Got scammed on all 5 attempts losing in total 800$! U.s & max cash rs gp first time got my max acc scammed sadly.. 1rst got scammed for 360$... By "Emiel.jonathan" his skype.. 2nd 125$ by some other dude.. 3rd for 1.5b RSgp for a max acc and 4th for 500m by manager pb.. And final one for 316$ By "powerbot".. That's a lot of money to me.. I could have done so much with it. I lay down sometimes think to myself. Why me? Why does this all happen to me? I can never buy a runescape main account with out it being recovered the next day or them not changing email... So I switched to soulsplit private server and so far been scammed about 21$ but now I have a friend who is going to pay be 15b I hope because I bought him 2 3 month rs mem cards for 50$... His account banned and he is telling me to wait and I am but I'm afraid to lose this 50$.. This is my Christmas money and I only have 20$ left.. My addiction has cost me so much money and I'm
Not in the best money situation cause I am 16 but I make money by selling clothes as "supreme" "diamond" "hall of fame" "odd future" that I get hooked up for free to buy things.. I'm just really hoping the last guy doesn't scam.. It's been 24 hours and I just want my 15b to honestly sell it and get my money back and hopefully quit all this. I need to realize runescape is just a game. Like I need help.. Been playing for 8 years

 

I've played Runescape on and off for the past.. 7-8 years probably like yourself. It's never really left me, as I still use this site and I still watch Runescape videos everyday. The way I found to quit is to literally sell everything you have; accounts, gold, memberships, and just cut ties to it all.

Don't try to just get up and leave Runescape completely behind you though. Stay up to date with the updates, the content, and the videos and over time it'll be a lot easier to get over not playing.

Also maybe try a different game? I went over to League of Legends and have had so much fun. It's 100% free and the only pressures to spend money are for skins / champions, but champions you can unlock through playing games. Nothing you can buy will further advantage you ingame though, so it's easy not to spend money.

I played rs from 2004 till 2011, tried it again when osrs server came up and really enjoyed it, played it for like 5 months. Right now I do not have the urge to login but I do have an account available anytime. Good thing I commit my time to league right now, i,f you really wanna stop playing eventually you'll find a way out

 

I mean, I've quit for a bit Nita's soon as I get money I want to spend it on an account & it's stressing how many times you get scammed here. As for the guy who is suppossbly gonna give me 15b ssgp I hope doesn't scam

 

How could you get scammed 5 times man? Seems to me that you were being careless with your money. Every single time I purchased gold on this game, I was never scammed, and that is because I do my research to ensure I do not get scammed. Using sites like playerauctions, or using trusted sellers on sythe is the best bet. I honestly don't understand man. Getting scammed once is enough. Had that happened to me, I would of been A LOT more careful with my money.

You're best bet is to not buy any accounts, doesn't matter how trusted the guy is, accounts can ALWAYS be recoverable by the original owner. As for GP, there are so many measures you could take to not getting scammed. Feel free to PM me if you need any more help.

 

Do you honestly need a computer other than to play games? I'd look at getting rid of it for a while or even permanently if you only use it to play games.

 

Stop buying accounts and doing business with non trusted people, and you shouldn't continue to have these problems.

 

I've used a middle man in some of these trades but they always recover. I just quit in all of the account buying. Don't trust anyone who sells their account now because I think they just want gold

 

Do you live with anyone? Set them up as the PC's administrator and block Runescape from your account.

Honestly though, just think of what 800$ can buy. Hell, it could put a couple hundred kids from a third-world country in school. Do good with your money, don't wait until it's thousands upon thousands. Spend more time with your girlfriend and out rather than in - you'll be glad

I do. I'm waiting for the guy to pay me my 15b in ss and then I'll sell it and ban my account and just forget about rs.. I'll still be on sythe helping people though

 

I'm not sure how much 15b would be worth, but I honestly hope it covers up some of the money so you could actually spend some on real life shit Best of luck buddy

 

You should just block Runescape from your computer. That would be the easiest way.

 

I was very much addicted to runescape however i found a way to stop. I began doing GFX. I find i still play the game but i do graphics alot more of the time. And Graphics is generally free

 

Just bot your own accounts, your girlfriend will be happy and you will have 99's.
