    Struggling Senior Year of College

Hey guys, so I have always been a good student. My High School GPA was like a 4.5 unweighted or w/e they call it. It was good enough for high up in my class, and my College GPA has gone from a 3.8 to a 3.6.... You may be saying wow that's pretty good, but I've hit a wall this past semester. I am taking really challenging Biology + Math Courses, and the courses are online-classroom hybrids. The tests are administered in the class, but all of the coursework is online. But the coursework online is only 20 percent of the grade. The material is so basic that I've actually forgotten a large portion of how to do it (mainly College level Algebra and College level Biology). I have always struggled in the Math and Sciences, but in High School grades were so easy to attain if effort was put in. College is not just about effort, it's about execution, and withstanding pressure. Any good suggestions on how to get over math or science based anxiety? Any useful tools to use? I tried going to the math center on campus but it's just a bunch of stuck up graduate students that have little to no interest in helping us lowly undergraduates. Help, I'm scared I'm going to fail these classes and never be able to graduate.

Practice doing stuff until you are extremely confident on the topics.

Something I do that helps is writing out explanations of what I'm trying to learn on a blank sheet of paper. If I'm unable to explain it from scratch, I go back and learn what I need to be able to do so.

Great advice. I was able to get an A in College Calculus... yet these older topics are actually tricky in the sense I did them back in like..early High School. Plus it's more fast paced too of course and a lot more material.

I will take that advice though, thank you.
