Babyface.

Didn't really know where to put this, so I figured this'd be the best spot. If this isn't the right spot, please tell me and/or move it.

So I'm 16, almost 17 years old, and I have a babyface.
People often think I'm 14-15, and when I tell them I'm turning 17 in a few months they don't believe me. I know this isn't a big problem, but it does annoy me at times, and has kind of influenced my confidence.

So.. Will a babyface go away as you get older, and are there ways to hide it?

(I've read things like grow a beard, but this really isn't possible seeing as I'm still this young. A beard'd look stupid at my age, and I only grow white hairs. My facial hair is yet to become darker.)

You'll get facial hair some day dont worry.

 

You still have a few years left before you're fully matured/grown - some people just develop slower, it's perfectly normal and you'll outgrow it Girls love a cute guy anywho.

 

yeah what Roary said, I had a baby face and tbh I still sorta do if I was to clean shave so I always keep a stubble and now I look much better.

 

When you have to shave every few days you'll wish you still had a baby face.

 

Obviously your face will age when growing up.

 

i know how it feels buddy, if i would shave my face. i look like a child so i decide to trim my face to look more like a man if you get me what i mean haha.
it's also your age, you can't expect as a 16-17 year old that everybody thinks you have that age. you'll see more difference after you get facial hair (aslong it looks good, some have terrible facial hairs haha)

it's a matter of time mate, you shouldn't worry about it.

 

If you work out or at least exercise daily the increased testosterone production helps to make you appear more rugged with appearance. Also, try leaving a little hair on your chin. It worked for Phantomlord (League of Legends celebrity).

Being a girl, I don't mind if boys look young for their age, unless the girl he's dating looks more matured than him then yes, he needs to do something about his looks. I suggest working out, grow that body first.

 

So I'm a 20 year old who is FINALLY starting to begin growing real facial hair! Going to the gym didn't do anything for me... I was/am a gym nut and never saw increased facial hair as a result. With that being said...when people look at your muscles they dont really notice your facial hair or lack of...

 

As long as you don't make a big deal out of how your face looks, other people probably won't, either. Plus, lots of girls think younger-looking guys are cute.

Just stay in shape, keep your self-confidence up, and wait on the changes you're wanting to rush now.

 

Just wanted to add that just "keeping your self-confidence up" really isn't the easiest thing to do.
