pre-employment drug test question

So yesterday I went to get my medical card and pre-employment drug test, and i've been taking Diuretics (Hyrdovax) to remove water weight just so I had more definition, rather than partially bloated in areas.

Anyways, it's not prescribed and it's just over the counter - I was told that any diuretics in my system during the time of a drug test means I will fail? Is this true? I don't smoke weed and the last time I even had a hit was about a month or so ago...

TL;DR- are diuretics illegal on drug tests?

I didn't take them just to pass - i've been taking atleast 3-4 a week just so I looked more defined and so I pissed more to clean out my inners (as one of my doctors told me would be good to do)

If they're not an illegal drug, they're not going to test for it. With regards to marijuana, marijuana, depending on your body fat, can stick around for up to 6 months. So that, on the other hand, might come up. What I recommend you do, and this is what I done, is go to the chemist/drug store and get a home drug test, next go and purchase "Zydot - The Original Detox Body Flush" read the instructions, thoroughly. And take your test, you will come up clean. What it does is; masks your piss so that it appears there is nothing in there.

 

They can test what kind of drug it is, Its not like you pee and what ever comes up they just deny you. There are alot of medicines out there that are detected on drug tests, Anywhere from Advil to ADHD Medicine. Dont worry just be sure to tell them that your taking it and your reasons and it will be ok.
