What to buy for girlfriend for 18th birthday?

We're together for 2 years and it's her 18th birthday now.
Please post your ideas.

If shes a girly girl, you can't go wrong with clothes, shoes, purses, or jewelery.
If shes a gamer girl, buy her a video game or some sort of stuffed animal.

Well.. She's not a gamer girl (too bad). She's girly as girl could be. Clothes, shoes etc you say. Well i prefer not buying these. I'm not good at it, but will think about it when nothing better comes to my head.

 

I can imagine it being very difficult to buy a girly girl a gift, but thats why we all have moms. right?

If it's a good amount, why not try like a bracelet or a necklace. I'm sure there's stuff you could probably look around at a jewelry store.

If you're tight on a budget, I'd say stick to shoes and clothes. I don't know what clothes to be specific though to be honest with you. :S.

 

Yeah, as shit as it is going to town with your parents the best idea would be to have your mum come with you to jewelry stores. Pick out a piece of jewelry she will like (you will know what she prefers, rings, bracelets, necklace etc) and have it engraved with something very special to you and her.
If you can't think of anything, you could simply just have yours and hers initials.

We had rings when we were together for 2 years. It has text on it :
(date) (name) (heart)
I had with her name and she had with mine.

I say this every time somebody asks this question, but along with a material gift, give her something with sentimental value. I always love writing long notes filled with memories and to help say things that are harder to say verbally, and actually DOING something - making some sort of gesture towards her that is romantic and thoughtful. It can be anything and is much more simple than you think... pack a picnic, take her to a favourite spot that you two share, make her a cheesy booklet with tickets that she can redeem for things like body massages, 1 free room-clean etc.

Not sure if this sounds really gay to you or what, but trust me man, it works wonders. Most girls would prefer those sort of things over a material gift any day. However, some jewelry or a bag from coach never hurts

It won't be anything that you said (sorry). It has to be the best present. The best present = for her (but for me:laugh: ) I'll buy her sexy complet for hot nights or beach, idk yet

Something they can wear is always good, as it will remind them of you. Jewelry is nice I suppose, making some jewelry yourself always makes them really happy.

 

what ever you get her give it alot of thought. she'll love it no matter what it is because you're giving it to her. Add some personal touch to it because she'll like the thought.

 

Something she likes and always talks about? taking her out were she loves to eat? maybe silver/gold neckless or maybe even a trip to a vacations *summer around the corner*
