Hey i wanted to write about this because iv had it bottled up inside of me for ages and i haven't really talked to anybody about it im not looking for sympathy i just want to write so please dont hate dont flame dont troll.

So its almost been two years now what happened was i was walking home from a party around 12-1 at night some guy came upto me and tryed to grab my ipod me being a little drunk thought it would be a good idea to try and get it back from him. Im a pretty small kid and the guy just tossed me to the ground and stomped on my head 4 times some body saw what happened and called the police i was in acoma for 18 hours. i was happy to be alive when i finally came too. the doctors said i might have brain damage but it was hard to tell so a month later i started to go back to school. i thought every thing was normal apart from my speech that was a little jumpy i sometimes stutter. but then we started to get into spelling tests in class and i could just not remember how to spell the words we would get no matter how many times i would spell it out in my head as soon as i had to write it down with out looking at it it was not in my head anymore. they kept giving me spelling tests the tests ending up being worth 50% of my grade and i failed everyone so i failed English, i cant learn to read any better then i could that day either (i was never the best reader to start off with) im probably a Grade 8 reading level right now.

Then almost a year after that happened my best friend passed away at a party. she was 16 years old she got hammer at a party that i was going to go to with her but i backed out witch made me feel so much worse about this but yeah she got really drunk at a party passed out a vomited in her mouth she drown on her own puke. she was one of my only really good friends i would ell her about all my problems and open up to her(kind of like what im doing right now) and she would do the same to me i really miss her alot and i would do anything to have gone to that party with her because i know if i was there this would not have happened.

3 or 4 moths after she passed away one of good friends died of lung cancer he never smoked a day in his life he only knew about the cancer for 2 mounts before he passed this is making me really sad writing about this so im going to stop here guys that was pretty much all i wanted to get off of my chest so again please dont hate or anything i just had to tell sombody and i dont really have anybody to talk to in real life, no very close with my parents and don't know any relatives very well.

That's all pretty terrible.. That's why I carry knives with me though..

Also, there should be some sort of accommodations at your school, look into that..

And yeah, you will get many more and much better answers in the personal support forum.. Maybe ask to have it moved.

 

A sad tale, my friend. But there is always a brighter side. Visit the Personal support forum if you feel you need anyone to listen extensively to your case. People here are always happy to lend and ear, and share some advice.

Well Josh, Life haven't been really fair on you. My heart goes out to you bro.

My advise for you would be to look for your school counsellor. It would help alot more talking it out to an actual person in front on you then to type your heart out.

man life is tough :/ i feel ya. i lost a friend to a falling tree branch. yeah thats right, a 2 ton tree branch just descided to fall on him right as he was walking under it. It really sucks but never feel the need to put all the burden on yourself. Dont be scared to get help if it is needed. a counselor can be your best friend. Throughout highschool my counselor became my best friend because of how often i saw him. Talk to someone because bottling it all up is never good. if you ever need to feel free to pm me and ill totally let you vent im a good listener and have had alot of experiences and know how to help you handle them

Well Josh, that is quite the story. I feel horrible for you because you've had to experience so many painful things in such a small amount of time, and I can only imagine how tough some of those things could have been on you. Nobody deserves to have to go through that.

I think you are doing the right thing though by opening up and talking about it. It is only when you open yourself up, and when you begin to accept and acknowledge these things that you begin the slow process of healing. The more things you keep bottled up inside of you, the more it eats away at your mind and your soul and the more it will affect other areas of your life. You did the right thing
