Bad grade wont let me sleep

So today i got the lowest mark possible on my physics practice exam(real exam in 11 days) because of this i can't stop thinking about it and sleep.This has happened before because for some reason school is not working out for me.

Guys how can i make myself sleep and forget about it?

 

There are the natural things you can try...

1. Drink warm milk with a little bit of honey or sugar in it
2. Buy melatonin (from pharmacy... natural pills dont worry)
3. Avoid TV/computer/any stimulating activity right before bed
4. Excerise

Or
Try studying harder next time and you'll be able to sleep

Honestly i cant suggest go see a doctor and get prescribed sleeping pills, because this isnt a valid reason to get sleeping pills. As they can be addicting. (benzodiazepine pills)

 

Can you identify why you got such a bad grade? Did you forget to study? Were you tired?

Think about what it was, and tell yourself that if you fix those problems, it will come out fine next time. Then, fix those problems, and you'll be all set

 

Its 1am and i have been in bed since 9 pm, if i cant sleep this will hurt my school day tommorrow as i will be tired

 

take some sleeping tablets get of the computer and have hot quick shower then jump into bed in a nice dark room

Don't take pills... Just breathe, and focus your mind on your breathing and that should help you sleep and just listen to the breathing.

 

take a shower... that helps...
do breathing excersies... deep in and out, you can find a nice guide by searching online for breathing excersises...

Thanks for the support guys, I slept at 6am and had to wake up 7am for school.
Also when i ate cereal i vomited it all out, was extremely tired at school.

 

Man, it's just a test in a year you won't even remember it. It's only school they just feed you bull shit making it seem like the biggest thing of your life when honestly you don't need it in the end.

 

Obviously, you're stressed about this grade but it's normal. I know I put in alot of study time and work into my biology class. But I still did bad on the exam. You're going to have your ups and downs in academics but you need to pick up the pieces and roll with it. Find out, what questions you missed and correct those. Then when the next test rolls around, you can be sure not to miss those same questions. Life is to short to be stressing about something little like failing a test.

But if you believe you can get the HIGHEST on the real exam you will get it.

I had average grades, B - C in Highschool and I'm in a great college, and I could care less what grades I got.

anyway to OP...the stress of ur grades is all in ur mind. dont take sleeping pills to try to get past it because it wont really fix the problem. u have to take a step back and realize that the grade u recieved is already set in stone and u cant change it...and u have to do whatever u can to do the best u can on tests in the future.

In the future, don't think of a bad mark on a practice test necessarily a bad thing. I got a bad mark on my math practice test recently, just a few days before the big test. I was really worried for a little bit, but the practice test helped me realize exactly what areas I needed more clarification on and I was able to focus on those areas during my study sessions and drastically improve my mark. I got an A on the test
