Racism

Today at college me and 15 other friends was sitting on the bench and one made a laugh about another and we looked at the black girls that was sitting in other sides while we lauged,then one of them said if you talking about me watch what will happen and we said what she talking about we are not even talking to her and then she started saying fuck us all so I said shut up to her and then one other person called her a gorilla,
Later 5 mins other people went to class including the guy who said gorilla and me and my friend was sitting at bench and then a teacher comes saying we got suspended for being racist when we wasnt the ones who said gorilla in first place,

They said we suspended for 5 days until investigation is happening and they will send us a letter,so my question is can they suspend me and my friend for only saying shut up to the lady because she was swearing at us because me and my friend are not the ones who called her gorilla but she said to the teacher that we was with the group but she doesnt know who said it

 

First off... what the fuck.

Secondly, no, they cannot (or shouldn't) suspend you for simply telling a student to, "shut up". If your friend has any decency at all he'd step up and tell the teacher he was the individual who said "gorilla".
