Another 'girl help' thread

So today I met this really cute girl in my Calc 3 class. We joked around a bit during class while we were supposed to be working on the computer (lol) and we walked to our cars together and chatted it up after class. I really like her.

So when's a good time to ask for her number? Am I rushing things a bit?

I figure when I see her next time I'll joke around a bit more, but I don't know how to let her know that I'm interested. I don't want her thinking I'm a fucking weirdo randomly coming on to her like that.

Considering your in Calc 3, I'm assuming your in college yes? The best way you could play getting her number, in my opinion, is just asking her for help on the homework one day. Say you've got something to do, but it would be nice if she could help you later. You'll get her number, and be off. If you don't want to do that, you really could just ask her for her number and be straight up with her, ask her if she wants to hangout sometime, nothing is better than confidence.

You could go the Facebook route, and talk to her a bit on there, say your about to log off but you still want to talk to her about whatever the topic was, and that she can contact you at [insert your number here]. That way she'll have the option of texting you if she wants. If she doesn't, maybe its a sign shes not interested.

I don't really think your rushing anything, asking for a number isn't really a big deal, or at least to me it isn't. And being a college student (I'm going to assume you are throughout this whole response) I seriously doubt its out of the norm to be asking for friends numbers, especially if you spend your class together chatting instead of doing what you pay to be there for. I don't think your rushing things at all.

Asking a girl for a number isn't "too fast" I've done it after about 30 seconds of meeting a girl.
If she jokes around with you she probably likes you

 

Honestly, the meeting up for HW thing is a great idea. That way you don't come on too strong or freaky, and you can sort of "test the waters" before hand to scope out whether she wants to hang out or not, and whether or not she seems to like you back. I am the kind of guy who always likes to be fairly confident that the girl I am chasing likes me back before I go throw myself at her.

The other day, a girl in my class asked for MY number in a pretty clever way She is a really nice girl and we have been chatting alot lately and sort of becoming friends, and one day after class she just came up to my, handed me her phone, and asked me if I'd put my number in it so we could meet up to study together or she could call me if she was ever away from class and vice versa. I thought it was cool

It is a simple thing. just ask for her number right away. Its a very common thing. I can meet 3 girls in 1 day and have all 3 numbers. Just say "hey, how do i get ahold of you, you text or anything" and just talk for a day or so in a friendly fashion and then tell you that you like her.

 

If you haven't realised, this topic is from almost a year ago and was grave dug by the guy above you. I'm sure he has her number by now
