I'm really surprised I'm not getting more bids on this. I've only seen one 2-letter ingame in the 8 years I've been playing this game. Did this forum lose a lot of buyers after the bot nuke or something?

 

One of the reasons is that you just joined this month and haven't got any vouches. It's hard to trust someone that's new on a forum - over the internet. I think the name itself is pretty nice, it could mean Yoga Journal or even the Jeep Wrangler YJ which is a nice car. Good luck selling this

And a last tip, you should make it a member and get it ready to be transferred: change the name to something else, wait about 23 days and make a new topic to sell it. In these 5 days you have to wait you should be able to find a buyer for a higher price then your current bid. Once the 5 days are over you could use a OMM to transfer the name. Don't trade with anyone with a low amount of vouches, they could claim that someone else sniped the name during the process even though they are the one that sniped it.

The best way would be to sell it to one of the major name buyers/sellers here or someone with a nice amount of vouches. Let the buyer give the OMM the money. Once the OMM confirms he has the money you should give them the details about the account. The OMM should wait 1-5 days to transfer the name to lower the risk of snipers. Once it's transferred you will get the money.

I haven't sold any names like that but I imagine that the way I mentioned above is the safest name. I'm not sure though, there might be other, even better ways.

 

Thanks for the reply! I didn't join this month but I get your point lol- 10 posts. The change name/wait 23 days thing might be a good option but it will give snipers a good time frame on when the name will be transferred. The OMM method could work as well but I could potentially lose out on the money if some determined sniper goes for the name. I guess there will always be risk for one side when name trading though.

It looks like my best option would be to get a lot more vouches before selling any names if I don't want to take a big risk myself. I wish I had some less rare names to sell to get some vouches :\

Since you're not very trusted, and with the risk of you recovering the account, getting an OMM to hold money while the name is transferred would probably attract more buyers/bidders to this.

That's what I will do if you decide to contact me to buy this. I can pay for the OMM as well Don't worry about a possible sniper taking the name and you losing out on money or if I decide to scam you and deceive you into thinking that the name was sniped - if the transfer fails then you'll still get my money anyway because I was originally paying for the whole account itself, not the account and transfer.
