How in the crap is Earnt rare? What does it even mean (earned is the past tense of earn)? Nontheless I will bid 100k

 

Earnt is a rare name mate earnt is like learnt. ie google 'earnt' and go onto wikipedia

The purpose of a rare name is for it to be a easy understanding without hassle. You got some british definition off Wikipedia that no one knows WTF it even states and quite frankly, I'm positive you have no idea WTF it means either.

Rare names aren't just words that are available.

Example:

Some rare names are: Rare, Rooster, Dog, Cats, Are, Pot, Bell
Rare names are NOT: Scathe, Incinerate, Earnt, Forthright

 

Yes but still, when you type 'Earnt' into rs usernames you expect a user to have that name. Im pretty sure earnt is a commonly used phrase. Stop hating, if you dont wont it dont post

 

I've never thought of typing in "Earnt" to see if someone has it, as I own several ACTUAL rare names myself, I would know.

I'm just offering advice, this isn't a word in the English dictionary which is what most rare names are priced off of.

It's not my opinion. I'm going off of what the general population considers of a rare name. This isn't rare, and you can ask anyone that you pass by. Just because it has 4 letters of a actual rare word + 1 extra letter that turns the word into no meaning doesn't make it rare. Same goes for if it looks short.

Look at it this way: If it was rare, you wouldn't have anyone flaming you or telling you why it isn't rare. Rare names speak for themselves, they don't need to be accompanied by an obscure Wikipedia definition.

 

Agree with Gyot. Not really rare at all tbh. A rare name is something like "Purple" or "Cow", not a made up word..

Yes, well if people dont think it is rare, they can keep there mouths shut. It will be rare to some people as it is a British/Australian word.

"Rare" isn't the correct word. It's whoever "likes" it will buy it.
