Original Pokemon Series

So i was bored and browsing Netflix when i came across the original 2 seasons of pokemon. I loved playing the old games on the original gameboys but never actually watched the show. I collected cards hardcore back in the day and actually put together a collection of over 200 hologram's together. My prized possession consisted of a 1st Blastoise and 2 Charizards i got from 7-11 years and years ago. Unfortunately they were stolen but i decided to watch the show from the first episode. Its really brought back great memories of being a kid. I remember playing on the very first gameboys before even color was released. Hell i remember when they had a cord were you could link 2 gameboys together and battle each other. Good times! So far ive made it to episode 26 and didnt realize how often team rocket appears in episodes lol. Funny shit

 

The originals are by far the best. I remember watching the movie with mew and mew2. Not sure if that was the one where Ash turned to stone and Pikachu cried, but that got me back in the day.

 

Ayylmao. I even recently went on and downloaded an emulator on my computer just so I could replay the games. I went on and clocked one of the newer ones, Pokemon Sapphire. That was pretty cool but I just don't like the new pokemon, it's gotta be the original. I never watched the episodes in sequence, just whenever I could every morning before school.. ahh nostalgia.

 

Ash was only good for the 1st 2 seasons maybe johoto. They just killed it with seasons after it. XY? WTF IS THAT?

 

The original pokemon series is so good. It really made you feel for pokemon. Many heartfelt moments in the series. I had almost all pokemon games until pokemon black, then I broke free from the pokemon games. I occasionally download roms to play on emulators, but only emerald and firered.

 

Ah bruh. Sapphire is amazing though. Past the sapph/em/ruby gems it starts to decline though. >.<

 

This goes to everyone actually but have you played the new sapphire and ruby games?
Alpha Sapphire and i forgot what ruby is called but its a reboot with the pokemon being able to MEGA Evolve.


Also heard that these games are getting reboot graphics might still stay the same.

Ya i only watched a few episodes here and there when i was a kid. I only played the original games. The last one i played was crystal and it was years after it released. I ran into a gameboy color and the game and gave it a go. I think i beat it not sure. I hated all the new pokemon so i stopped playing.

 

God the memories and the nostalgia. I used to love the original Pokemon movies and the Pokemon games on the gameboy.

 

I used to like wait for the new pokemon episode every saturday morning. I loved the experience. Friday right after school just go and play some football with friends and then just wake up to some pokemon.
