Daredevil - Season 2

Great show so far. I'm halfway through the season. It's created by netflix so all the episodes were released simultaneously.

I highly recommend it. Great fighting scenes.

Just started it. God damn, this show is fucking amazing. Far better than Arrow, slightly better than Flash. It's casting is on par with Game of Thrones, and the tone for this show is far darker than most Marvel shows/movies.

Highly recommend it.

Mate Flash isn't even as good as Arrow lol. Season 1 of Arrow > Season 1 of Flash. I'd concede Flash is better atm than Arrow, but overall? I don't think so.

I like all 3.

Started Daredevil last week.

It's very hard to continue being great as a show when seasons continue to mount and popularity + pressure builds. That's Arrow's weakness, House of Cards weakness, Supernatural's weakness, The Walking Dead's weakness, and numerous other shows. It just inevitably happens the more episodes and content that is created.

 

Opinion, subjective.

Sure, as season go on the tend to fall wayward. However, season 1 of Daredevil to me, is better than Arrow.

 

True true, I'm just saying going by ImDB, Rotten Tomatoes, metric sites like that, the ratings for Arrow/Daredevil/Flash (Season 1) are pretty even.

It's really hard to live up to par once you exit the first season and your fanbase grows. Writers tend to panic and try to cater to the new fans instead of sticking with what brought them success in the first place.

That's why I'm just saying it would be best to tread lightly (Walter White style) because Flash and Daredevil haven't gotten to the S2 challenge yet.

I, personally, rank em pretty even in Season 1. Daredevil is inherently a lot more popular of a character than Green Arrow, so you have to give Berlanti credit for making the Green Arrow actually cool. He was depicted as a pu$$y in most television before him (IE: Smallville). The Flash is also a way more popular character than Arrow, however those shows aren't really competing because they're created by the same guy lol.

One last thing to also keep in mind Seller, Daredevil produces about half the episodes per season as Flash + Arrow - easier to avoid filler content this way.

That said, season 1 was great.

 

Daredevil differs from the 2 because they have more room to work with, and are probably not as pressured. Daredevil can show a darker and serious side while at the same time putting in a lot of juicy content into 1 episode. That said, all 3 are great show and I'm sure we can all agree there.

 

Just finished it, it's a really great show. I'm really glad netflix made this, not only because they release all episodes in one go, but the director wasn't restricted on making this one of those superhero shows that is too family friendly. Netflix took a pretty big risk and I hope it pays off enough for there to be more seasons to come.

As I said before, I highly recommend it and my opinion has not changed even after watching the whole season. A whole year till the next season.

 

I'm on episode 6 right now. Great show. I can't wait to finish the first season.

 

its going slow seems like the show.

 

I've really enjoyed it, reminds me of Arrow, wonder if it's the same director or something. I don't like the dreary dark theme though. I get that they might be trying to draw parallels to his blindness or something, but I'm still not impressed with the constant darkness.

 

I think it started off weak, got a lot better, and ended pretty good. I would give it an overall 8/10

Some stuff just didn't connect or make sense too me. And some scenes were just too cheesy.

 

Daredevil season 2 is out tomorrow.

Anyone plan on binging all of season 2?

 

Wow it's already been a year! I might binge watch it on Tuesday if I can hold off till then.

 

I had no idea season 2 were coming out before now. Read some about it and it seems they are going a bit for a more violent this season. Cant wait!

Watched 11 of the episodes so far! So far it's so good, love the fight sequences and the new cast. Can't wait to finish the season. Will post again then
