Gonna give this a shot right now, will let you know what I think.

 

I just watched all of it in like 3 days. Really ridiculous funny as shit show. Won't win any awards but it is amazing for what it is. Highly recommend.

 

Basically the R rated version of Friday Night Lights. First two episodes made me laugh my ass off though. This show is pretty good.

 

BMS is the shit mayne, only good suggestion 1337neo has ever made to me rofl. I'm rewatching it currently actually. I just wish they didn't cancel the 4th season. I demand moar!

Also they have some kickass music on there, found out about Rev Theory & Southpaw Swagger via BMS.

Hmmm the name sounds familiar but i never gave it a shot due to the name "blue mountain state". Seeing all dem supports makes me wanna check it out eventually.

Watched the first season. Thought it was terrible. I guess it's just like the American Pie movies (post #3).

How can you even compare it to FNL? That show actually had character development, far more underlying issues, deeper context; and actually allowed for emotional context and connection.

If you want a show that's just about beer, tit's and idiocy then yea, this would be it. If you're however after great dialogue, acting and screenplay, this is definitely not it.

 

Lol that sounds like a good show to me.

On topic: I agree that it is not a "high quality" show but still it is fucking hilarious.

It was on Spike. Of course it was all about girls and beer. That's the point of it. It's only good if you watch it just because its funny as hell and ignore the crapiness of it.

 

I just said it's the R rated version of FNL. Not that they're really similar haha. Honestly though I think it's alright. It's a good show to just chill and laugh at. At least for me.

Nothing. But this isn't that lol. Yea it's funny, but it's not a 'good quality show'. If you're bored and looking to pass the time with some cheesy humour and the run of the mill America Pie stigma show, then this would be it. I generally prefer shows of more depth and context.

I've watched similar shows, such as, 'The Hard Times of RJ Berger', 'Misfits', 'No Ordinary Family' etc. They are good shows in their own relevant field, but don't compare to actual top contenders (GoT, Suits, BB, etc). I enjoyed those shows, but wouldn't compare them to the aforementioned contender shows.

I'm a highly critical of movies/TV shows, simply cause I watch so many, and have a well rounded understanding of most.

 

I used to watch this show i think it aired on spike like about football guys or something watched like 10 episodes not in order just randomely it was alright
