Deltora Quest Anime Help!

I'm trying to decide if I want to watch this or not.

I read all of the Deltora Quest novels by Emily Rodda. I fuckin' loved em! Possibly my all time favorite book series (in the top 5 at least).

When I found out they made an anime of it I thought "well fuck me they went with awesome cartoons instead of something like the hairy potter movies". So being pretty excited, I immediately downloaded all 52 episodes.

I got to episode 5 and quit watching it. Not because its bad, I liked it, but I found out the japanese version has 65 episodes.

So what I'm wanting to know, does the english version have an ending? Or did they just quit making them in english before they completed the series?

I will NOT watch jap dubbed anime. So don't suggest that I just get ep. 53 - 65 in japanese. If I wanted to read subtitles, I'd read a book... and considering I've already read the books for the story... just no. I just won't watch it if it just cuts off before the story ends.

Although there's rumors about another season based on the Shadowlands, it seems like there aren't any plans to dub the extra 13 episodes in the immediate future. However the 52 English episodes covers the entirety of the first series of books, so I guess they just threw some random stuff in the last 13 eps. So yeah the English version has an ending.

Even though I haven't seen the anime, I can honestly recommend watching it subbed. Apparently the English version that aired got quite a bit cut out from the original Japanese version. It doesn't take long to get used to subs.
