The Last Temptation of Christ

Has anybody seen this movie?
This movie, unlike the others we have seen till now focus on the "Man" of Jesus.

We (Christians) were brought up to believe that Jesus was both 100% man and 100% God, but most depictions of Jesus we see are only of his God-like characteristics. And because most of us only want to see that part of him, this movie was banned in 1988 for Desecration.

Like I said, this movie focuses on the Man part of Jesus.
As a man, Jesus had the feelings of a man and like the movie title refers, he was tempted.

Remember; Satan tempted Jesus not to die on the Cross.
But if you see the movie "Passion of the Christ," we don't see that happening.

This movie shows it happening, with Satan trying to sweet-talk Jesus out of crucification.

It even shows what could have happened if Jesus was not crucified.


Religious or not, I believe that people should watch this film.
It is a very good movie, despite the fact that it may have made some exaggerations and was banned for "desecration."

 

A fictional drama film that depicts Christ's crucifixion is what I've gained from researching it over the past five minutes. Might as well watch it and give you my feedback.

 

I'm not here to try to convert you into a Christian. You've probably been through that.

I'm just here to recommend a movie that I found worth watching maonly religously, but also as a movie.
