Almost 2 years ago I made this thread: http://www.sythe.org/market-discuss...port-great-cause-save-lives-earn-rewards.html looking to raise money and awareness for the Danny Did Foundation, which seeks to reduce deaths by epileptic seizure. Well I'm at it again because why not?

1 in 26 Americans will develop epilepsy at some point in their life. I myself had an aunt die from an epileptic seizure so this organization is of special significance to me. I'm not doing the dance marathon this time but you'll still get the same perks from before AND you can use this service as a way to donate to sythe as well.

I accept donations through paypal from most users and 07/rs3/ikov gp from anyone. If you have another virtual good of value that you wish to donate I can probably make it work as well (no accounts)

How do you verify that you're actually going to send the money?

 

I mentioned this at the end of the thread but once a week I'll make a paypal donation to the dannydid foundation and update the thread weekly with picture proof of this

100% of your donation goes to the charity. If you choose to donate to sythe through this service as well, Bogdan has been kind enough to allow that to be a fee-free transaction

 

I was being a bit vague. I meant how much goes to the charity after you give them the money. There are top charities known to take 95% of your donation for themselves. I would donate if I knew how much goes to the charity, and not the upper staff members.

Ah of course, I hate those charities just as much as you do (komen cough cough). I'll contact them and try to find out but in the meantime I can tell you that this is not a large charity with a massive board of directors with employees making millions a year. The charity was started by 2 parents who lost their child (Danny) to epilepsy and maintains a modest group of directors and staff as employees.
