I'm pretty annoyed at Riot with their shitty prize pool of $2.1m compared to Dota's $10.9m.

One would assume Riot would of upped their game after Dota's whopping prize pool but it seems it's the same/less than last years pool?

 

Looking foward to it, as for skt1 not that suprised they didn't make it in considering thier slump + the "winners curse" more suprised najin got in over them/kta

Honestly though I will cheer for tsm, I think Alliance and fnatic honestly have a chance at upseting a korean team.

Dota's prize pool was player-funded unlike Riot's prize pool if i recall correctly.

 

And the reason for this is because Riot is greedy. If Riot set 5-10% of all RP purchases from like April to August towards the world championship prize pool while advertising it, then the prize pool would of been much higher than the pitiful $2m.

 

Here's my predictions on who will make it out of groups as well.

You do have a point, but you gotta admit that $2m is pretty good for not being player-funded.

 

Predictions in no order:
Group A
SSW - obvious picks for this pool
EDG - ^

Group B
SK - would rather seem them through then tsm ;p
SHRC - I believe they'll finnish first in this pool if they sort out whatever thier recent internal beef is with uzi saying he might leave etc, if not resolved and members continue to lose games on purpose then TSM might get thier ticket into RoA in thier place
NVM that with sk's jungler getting suspension its probably going to be tsm/tpa XD

SSB - samsung vs samung finals lego
OMG - would love to see fnc get through but omg will probably get the 2nd spot in this pool unless other teams can pull some upsets either way looking foward to the games from this pool

Either C9 or Alliance im honestly unsure which will win the 2nd spot so looking foward to these games.
