Ref Rewards after 100 not working

I already had 100 refs in my account and got 150 more.
Every 50 refs should be 5k RP so it should be 15k RP, but I was only able to click the 5k RP redeem once so only got 5k RP

All the accounts are Level 10, I was able to claim the IP reward just fine

Was wondering if anyone else has faced this issue

 

I bought 100 referrals, and 100 again on the same account and got the same result as you. The next time I went to buy refs I bought them on a clean account and gifted myself mystery skins / bought skins off that account and sent them to my main acc.

 

I didn't have this issue but a friend of mine did. Kinda strange.

 

How long has it been since you received the referrals

 

Is there a potential of getting banned on your main for gifting from an account that bought referrals?

 

It has been about 2 weeks since the referrals were done

 

I'm not sure, I've only done it with 100 refs. You might get banned from the ref system but I don't think an in-game ban would be issued. Don't quote me on that tho

 

Ya one of my accounts that was purchased from someone was banned for abusing the referral system (it was the previous guy who owned the account ) I emailed riot support and got the account unbanned but was banned from the RAF program. The exact words on the email were "Your account has been implicated in the use of a 3rd party service in order to exploit the Refer-A-Friend (RAF) system through alternate accounts." I was just wondering if it was safer to have the referrals on a smurf account and just gift skins to the main like what you did

 

damn.. that'd suck.

 

There's always a risk but don't do it if you have so much RP on the account that you want the refs on.

 

Has your friend been able to get his rewards?

 

Never heard of this issue, weird tho
