    Thought i'd say hello.
    Though I'm not the newest member, I've never bothered making one of these threads, so here goes.
    Please excuse my spelling & grammar errors since I'm living off 3 hours of sleep, and 6 beers.

    About myself:

    Hello there, my name is Alejandro [Alex],I was born in Rio de Janiero /Brazil & moved to London when I was just two, unfortunately I can't actually speak my own language.
    I'm 1/2 Brazilian and 1/2 Irish.
    I'm also very musical.

    Had the aim to set up a large gold shop, but progress so far has been very very slow, due to the amount of under-cutting and other competition. Just looking to become recognized as a trusted member at the moment, and then hopefully my business should start gaining some speed.

    Anyway, pretty intent on being a very active member, so hopefully I'll be doing business with you sometime in the near future :)

    I've played the piano ever since I was 3, I've done my abrsm diploma and all my grades.
    I played the cello and got grade 7, but then I really didn't think it was for me.
    I've also played the violin and the viola.
    Both my sisters are violinists and pianists, and my mum's a concert pianist. So yeah my family is pretty musical :laugh:

    Amount of crime that goes on in Rio is disturbing. I believe it's like one of the least safe cities to live in. Corruption everywhere.

    Family moved because of all this, and the money was obviously better in Britain. Can't say I'm fond of London, so I'll either be moving back to Brazil, or possibly the states.
