Need help from a trusted user please

This might sound like an odd request, and i'm not sure if this is the proper place to be requesting this.

If I were to send a trusted user here $150 through Western Union, could you in turn send me $150 to my PP after you received the cash?

E: For backstory on what's going on, I can't use a bank at the moment and need a way to get cash into my PP. I have cash, but no way to get it to online currency (get it into my PP balance). I need to buy something in a lump sum otherwise I can't purchase what I need to acquire. Can't use a bank either because A) Closed account and B) By the time I take the time to open a new one and transfer funds to PP, what i'm attempting to purchase will already be gone.

Why not just buy a paypal my cash card from your local pharmacy or convenience store and save yourself the hassle of trusting a random person and paying a $15 western union fee?

 

You can do that, thats what I did for my PP account before I got my debit card in the mail. I wouldnt recommend sending anybody money on here unless its staff or you have an mm/omm present.

 

Would I be able to transfer that cash to my PP balance?

I have to send $250 to someone, to their PP, and I only have $100 in my PP at the moment. I can't use a bank because the transfer will take too long and I have to have this cash sent in like the next day.

 

Yeah, just go buy a my cash card it will tell you how to add the money to your paypal account on the back of the card.

 

Wait, but does this require a bank to use? Or is it one of these deals where the clerk will add XX amount? A bank account can't be a factor with what i'm doing.

Also, I did briefly look into it, is what's described here accurate or a half-truth?

 

Nah, you just go to the store, grab the card that's labelled "paypal my cash" take it up to the counter, tell them how much you want to add to the card then pay them the amount you want to add, plus a fee of $4.95. Once you get home follow the instructions on the back of the card and add the money to your paypal account.

 

Ah, awesome, so it's like transferring the amount on the card to my PP. That's good, as long as this circumvents me having to use a bank that's all i'm trying to avoid at the moment.

If it's not too much to ask can you address my edited part about that link? Is there any future complication to using this card? I don't use PP all that often for large purchases, rarely. The only reason i'm scrambling right now is due to opportunity, and if opportunity arises in the future I don't want a limit or something to become an issue.

I've never had any issues and I've personally used my cash cards and many other people within the digital currency section of this site use them as well without any limitations, if that's what you're asking. You don't have to give any information when buying the card.

 

Sounds good then. At the end of the day the bank is what's hindering me and I can't transfer funds because of reasons and blah blah blah.

Just remember when you buy it, don't redeem in within the same 1-2 hours. Sometimes, even if it's a legit card, you'll get the 203 PPMC error and have to go through the hassle of calling PayPal (their PPMC vendor, not even Paypal themselves, and these guys are even fucking worse) and sending them the card along with a receipt to be refunded via check.

Tl;dr wait 2 hours before redeeming, seen 203 error too many times.
