So today I was doing my research and now Im interested in selling items on ebay but am still perplexed on the whole stipulation. Please dont post video guides as I watched many of them. As far as I know, you can get free boxes from USPS and poly mailers to ship clothes. I also that you have to buy the shipping label before you can print it.

    Questions-
Do I have to stamp the box even if I put the printing label on it which cost money?(unless you are doing fed-ex but i am doing USPS)
why are there different types of boxes? Regional, flat (etc)
Where do I put the package after Im done?

Here is what you need to know about shipping:
Boxes you get from USPS don't need stamps, they'll charge you the shipping fee there.
Always use flat rate boxes when you can because they're cheaper and priority mail.
Regional boxes are like flat rate boxes but only for your region and are cheaper.
You take it to the post office and say you need to ship.

The flat rate boxes cost a flat rate to ship them, you don't have to use ebay shipping, but I recommend you do. Despite what the other guy said above, it is generally cheaper to buy postage through ebay when you charge the buyer for it, which most people do unless offering free shipping.
In that case you cannot use a flat rate box, instead you need to aquire a box and other shipping supplies, use your paypal to purchase the postage through ebay, print out the label and hand it to the mail man or take it to the post office. Once you print the label through ebay it marks as shipped regardless of if you actually have and I noticed this reduces handling time and makes buyers more happy. Also you never mess up an address when using ebay shipping because they have all the reference on their site.
Oh and you do not need a stamp, the postage you buy from ebay is a stamp technically.
With flat rate boxes, you have to bring them to the post office and you pay the "flat rate" to ship them - the box is your stamp in this case.

I have lots of experience selling on eBay in the past few years. I've handled both virtual and physical goods (there is a gray area on virtual goods/services).

    To answer your questions:

    1) You can either print courier labels if they are required, print the address, or handwritten is completely fine.

    2) The different boxes is due to size/weight of the item. In the UK you have what is called Small Package/letter, and Standard parcel. These are distinguished by a dimension limit. The weight of the package also has price factors. To be honest, it's just an excuse for them to get more money, just like weight limits at the airport.

    3) Not sure you mean by this, unless the courier is collecting it from your house. If this is the case, then you simply need to be in to sign a document (sometimes electronically) the courier driver gives you when he arrives at your front door.

Unless you're looking to hire a courier to constantly come to your house and deal with the dispatch of your items, then it is usually your responsibility to complete the postage and packaging process, including the dispatch of the item.

This differs from amazon, as many people drop-ship on amazon by simply having their inventory delivered to an apple warehouse, in which they then do everything for you for a commission.
