PayPal wont let me send money

    PayPal wont let me send money
    So I made a new account and it's Turkish, linked to my bank account

    And it doesn't let me send money to friends OR deposit money from my bank account. It only allows me to withdraw money from my PayPal to my bank.

    Every time I try sending money to friends it asks me to link a card.

    I know a few of my friends who have PayPals with no c/dcards linked but they're able to send money.

    I'm guessing it depends on your country.
    Why is this?
    And is there any way to send money to others without linking a credit or debit card?

    you can always call them up and ask - that's been effective for me in the past even if their responses aren't what i want to hear :p

    I email-ed them but the response was really ambiguous and when I asked for further clarification they didn't reply, and I still haven't received a reply :l

    Haha, yeah calling / emailing is your best option to find out exactly why you can't send money.
