    My mother was ripped off, how shall I go about getting a refund?
    She agreed to pay £30 for a weight loss ebook, which she doesn't even need. The £30 went out of Paypal along with a £40 for basically the same thing she also payed about £5 each time for VAT, she received a download file and read through it, and decided it didn't meet her expectations so she asked me to request a refund which I did for each using the site she ordered them from. Should I dispute through Paypal also? Or just wait and see what happens from here.

    She is not very smart when it comes to computers, most likely clicked on one of those Facebook ads.

    No, definitely don't dispute through PayPal. If she bought it and decided she didn't like it, she has to request a refund... You can't just take your money back after buying something. "Oh, I didn't like this shirt because I have one like it at home, I'm gonna charge back my payment and keep the shirt kthxbai"

    Go through the site. Then if not, paypal but as a refund, not any other false claim.
