How can I print mass pages and save as much as possible?

Basically I want to mass print coloured pages (there is a lot of colour on the page, not just a few coloured words here and there). The background is almost all coloured. I am trying to find the most cost efficient way of doing it. I need to print 1000s of pages (and more in the future) so maybe is it worth to invest in my own printer and just order ink online? I don't want to spend much money on a printer... are there any cheap printers out there that are efficient with ink? Right now i've just been getting my pages printed at printing services but it is still $37.50 / 100 pages so i'm looking for cheapest way possible.

 

Like a piece of pAper size or like the little colored papers that they mass print for raves and throw everywhere

 

Not really looking for a huge printer, I would want to be able to easily store it in my room. It is for a social media we are launching. We go to schools but over time they get torn down so we need to constantly replace.

The size that a normal printer paper is. Not sure the dimensions, but the same paper you write an essay on for example.

 

Have you made sure its not cheaper to just print at that place? Where I live the paint would cost probably 3 x that, maybe look into Canon printers? They are expensive but very good, like I said I don't know what the price of paint is in your area but here you could buy a new printer with the same money if you had to restock on paint...Be prepared to spend $300-500

 

Do you live in america? If so go to office max. They will do it dirt cheap.

 

The size you're thinking of is A4.

 

If you decide to buy a printer you aren't going to find a cheap one that'll be efficient on ink unless you manage to snag one cheap. You'll be looking at printers that use toner instead of ink as ink is less efficient than toner and gets used up quicker therefore making it more cost efficient per print.

You may need to be more realistic with your expectations however, you aren't going to find one little home sized printer that will do it all. Perhaps see if one of your partners have some room in a garage or other area they could place a printer.

 

I would not go the in home printer route, for the thousands of pages need. Unless you want to spend a lot. Try Office Depot/Max or try talking to a local library, major ones have some sort of printing program.

There was a high quality printer at staples for $700 that can do 1000's of pages on a single ink pack, seems the most cost effective. What I used to do is buy the printer use all the trial ink and an extra ink pack and return it saying its been leaking ink and I decided _____ was better
