iPhone 6 or Samsung 5?

Need advice on which one to get.


Also, if anyone can find me a monthly contract with unlimited data (EE or o2) I'll be willing to pay up to $5 (UK TARIFFS PLEASE)

Samsung by far imo. Firstly based on the fact that the iPhone can bend in your pocket and it's screen follows the trend of previous generations being terrible at resisting drops.

Asides from that the Samsung has better specs http://versus.com/en/apple-iphone-6-vs-samsung-galaxy-s5 and is cheaper.

 

iPhone 5c or 5s. iPhone 6 price is outrageous for all it is, a larger iPhone 5 essentially.

iOS or android will be personal preference, and for me iOS > Android.

I got my iPhone 5c via Carphone Warehouse with EE for £30 upfront cost, 24 months at £27 with unlimited data (inc. 4G), unlimited texting and 300 minutes.

 

Its really up to the buyer whether decide to buy one or the other. Its you that must decide which one "fits" with your "liking" and why do you need it. A better screen? A better song quality? A better OS? A better camera? I would say the iphone 6+ is kinda good but not for that price. Remember that you pay more for the APPLE rather than the cell phone. Take that in consideration while buying one of these phones.

 

I'll recommend Samsung 5, because Android is better than iOS (just my opinion), also more functions and programs.

 

samsung 5 has better specs, the iphone 6 has the same specs as a nexus phone in 2012 lol, i dont see why people are so dumb and paying that much just for the brand + samsung has android which is better imo

 

Then iPhone 6 may look and be pretty but the fact of the matter is they break very easily. If It were my decision Id go Samsung all the way.

 

Why does it have to be an iPhone 6? I'm happy with my iPhone 4. Just get a good case and you will be fine. I have a Lifeproof case and it is amazing. I've dropped my phone a hundred times and not one sign of damage. I've also gotten it wet before (the case protects from that too apparently).

 

I have to agree with kmjt , my iphone 4s works really great and for the price its really worth it, a good camera, a good shape, and the quality of the pictures and videos is amazing for me. Test it out,i really recommend it.

 

IF he wants tyo get an ihpone 6 or SGS5, let him decide , I personally would choose S5, thats because I got the S5 active , Really love it! You can download torrents, Music and almost everything for FREE.

 

iphone 6 is really overpriced and i heard rumors that the allluminum bends in heat

never been a fan of samsung though, i would get something like an iphone 4 or 5

 

iPhones bend in the heat so there not really worth it right now wait till the price goes down.

Furthermure I'd like to add once Apple implements wireless charging and water resistance and multi user support sometime in the next decade, they'll sue Samsung for copyright infringement.

 

Tbh all depends on your liking, I've had iPhone all the way due to its simplicity and because I've had it all the way lol.

The s5 is way too complicated for me, my friend has one which I don't really prefer.

 

I would just get an older version of iPhone. No reason to spend that much money just to have the new one. I've had my 5 for almost two years and never had any issues. Like KMJT said you should get a good case for your phone because they aren't very resistant to being dropped. I've never used a Samsung but my friends that have them for the most part would rather have an iPhone.

I decided that I'm going to get an S5, ultimately it seems to have gotten better feedback and I like the look of it also.



If anyone is able to find me any UK deals (contract) with unlimited data + no upfront costs, I'll be willing to pay.

 

If you're looking for quality and the most recent tech and want lots of customization go with the s5.

If you want to he a cool kid and socially accepted go with the iphone.

If i were you i would go with the Iphone 5s it's just as good and it won't bend in your pocket!

 

I have samsung galaxy s5 and it's better than an I phone for me because you can put in a memory card, the display is bigger, etc..

 

iphone 3 4 or 5 would suffice.. But depends what you like. I wish iphone had the memory card option as i dont like the huge display S5 has.. Comes down to your preferrences.
