need a little help with computers

ok so my comp is about 3 years old and basically all ive used it for is RS and my gf here n there doing her school work

got diablo 3 , installed it and im lagging like a pile of shit

I think you should buy a new one.

Dont pick Acer this time.

One time i got an Acer and it sucked dick. Try to see if you could find an Asus
or something good.

Dont pick an AMD procceser Go for Intel i7 or i5.

 

i dont really use computers for anything other then RS / Sythe and now trying to play Diablo 3, so paying for a brand new nice computer isnt even near my priority list top

Err, honestly invest 1-2k on a gaming computer, but don't buy it pre built. Just build one yourself. If you put 1-2k into it, you won't have to upgrade anything for like 3-4 years and run every game at really high settings with MINIMAL lag.

I'm just going to take a wild guess and say you don't have a dedicated graphics card, and running Windows 7 x64 has a minimum requirement of 2GB of RAM.

You are probably maxing out all aspects of your computer while trying to play Diablo III - and making your on board graphics work extremely hard to try to play a game which wants a dedicated graphics card with proper VRAM.

In short: Both of your assumptions are correct - it's going to run like shit AND the PC sucks.

 

lol thats why i haven't replied to anyone, but yes i found out from local computer shop i didnt have a good vid card.... he wants to update it with a 7500 nvidia or something for 140$ and a 60$ fan
