    Question about MM and chargebacks.
    So I wanted to use a MM for a high value trade to avoid chargebacks on PP, however I was just wondering: if the person chargebacks the MM will the MM chargeback me? What happens in this scenario?

    Question about MM and chargebacks.
    The middleman's paypal balance will be deducted from the amount sent to him. There is no chain beyond that. Paypal would be more horrible if the chain was never ending.

    Question about MM and chargebacks.
    I understand that, but I mean will the MM send me a message like "Hey that person chargebacked and I lost the money I need a payback"

    I don't think it would be fair if a MM was chargebacked, because then it would be a pretty risky business to get into.

    For example I'm seeing some MM threads that say "I'm not responsible for any chargebacks that occur after the trade"... Wouldn't the MM be the one losing the money if it was chargebacked?

    He would probably request a refund, but I wouldn't be sure of how all that goes down.

    Yeah that's what I thought. I guess I'm better off using PA to avoid a chargeback.

    I'd still like to hear back from others as to what would happen, preferably someone who does MMing :p

    Question about MM and chargebacks.
    No middleman with half a brain will accept paypal from someone they're mming for. They hold x item/account/gold/whatever while the paypal is sent from person b to person a. Then they give person b whatever x was. They don't risk chargebacks.

    IF you don't trust the person you're trading with not to chargeback, don't trade with them or if you do, don't accept paypal. MoneyPak is a good fallback.
